Really fun! Mad Alice was great, ghost stories of York as well as her own personal experiences. Not a massive trek either so suitable for people of all fitness levels. We went the night before Halloween and it really set us up for a fab spooky season!

The way Mad Alice got to speak with everyone individually and remebered all the names. She made the tour both interesting and amusing. She never mentioned that the original Mad Alice murdered her husband, that could have put a twist into the tour. Well worth bookung and good value for money. Thanks Alice.

Meeting point was easy to find, it started promptly and lasted the duration specified. Guide was wonderful, informative and entertaining- my daughter and husband thoroughly enjoyed this "bloody trip" through history!

A great tour which included an overview on the history of the city along with some of the more gruesome parts and ghostly sightings. We enjoyed the use of multimedia towards the end of the tour to bring some of the stories to life. The tour doesn’t cover a huge area so would be suitable for those whose mobility isn’t great.

Enjoyed the tour. Guide was very engaging. Not overly a spooky ghost tour but full of historical gory facts. When booked said a maximum of 15 but there were 42 in our group which made us uneasy. Having said that there was a great effort on the part of our host to tell us to socially distance, but she shouldn’t have been put in that position.
