Overview

Ascend to the summit of Mt Merapi — a mighty active volcano — on an exhilarating full-day- trip from Yogyakarta. In the early hours of the morning, travel by vehicle to Mt Merapi and ascend to the smoking summit of the volcano. From the top, enjoy panoramic vistas and listen to the natural history of Mt Merapi before proceeding to Jomblang Cave. Confirmation for the tour came down to the last day which was stressful. Was meant to include beach picnic but didnt. Asked tour guide and he had no idea what I was talking about. Viator offered a small refund after several weeks. Unlikely to use them again.
