Wonderful Walk

This is a must do if you are visiting DC. The meeting area was convenient. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable of architecture and the history of Georgetown. It was a pleasure to do this walk..

Well worth the cost

We enjoyed the walk and found it good value for money, as it was $20 vs $35 or more for other walks. Some constructive criticism: -the guide should always focus on speaking to the guest further away. We often could not tell what she was saying as she seemed to be speaking more to the person next to her and her voice would drop at the end of sentences. -she had lots of photos that were helpful and information but didn't always take the time to show them to everyone. In her defence, she said she was new and so perhaps a little nervous about the material.

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history of Georgetown. She provided a moderate pace to the tour, and added not-well-known information about Georgetown residents of the present and passed.

Paul was extremely knowledgeable . The tour was two hour. We saw many wonderful homes and streets and got to appreciate the charm of Georgetown. We even followed his suggestion to visit Tudor house which turned out to be fascinating.

So glad you were able to add a tour of Tudor Place to your Georgetown experience! Folks are often surprised to discover that a five-acre estate still exists in that densely populated neighborhood. Agree that a tour of the house and gardens is indeed fascinating--and that following Paul's suggestions always yields enjoyable results! -Carolyn Crouch, Founder, Washington Walks

Our guide Dwayne was incredibly informative and fun at the same time. There is no way we would have gained an insight into the local area without such a professional

We did this tour last of many activity in Washington so didn't feel I learnt a lot. The guide was very friendly knowledgeable and enthusiastic however, the content was a bit thin for me.
