Worst tour ever

This was a terrible experience. Only gave it one star because it would not post with zero. We only saw the capitol and drove aimlessly around for about 45 minutes. Roads were closed and the tour guide told nasty inappropriate jokes. Called ahead of time because we were worried that we wouldn't get to all the sites but were assured everything would be ok. Literally felt like they were trying to take advantage of us as tourists on a holiday weekend. They had an opportunity to do the right thing and cancel. Still haven't heard about our request for refund. We ended up getting dropped off in VA so didn't even get fireworks after that fiasco. We feel very bad about the other couple on the trip. They had ubered from Gaithersburg. So bad.

Waste of money

Was the worst experience I could imagine. Everything was closed. I didn't get to see anything I wanted to see. A complete waste of money. I've been in the DC area for a while and all I've wanted to see was the white house and we didn't even get to get close. Did not even get to come close to seeing it. Many other attractions were all impossible to get to due to road closures.

The evening tour was very well organized. It was wonderful to stop at various sites and experience the scenery with no crowds to contend with. I go to DC to visit family often, and this tour will make it difficult to go back to the National Mall during the daytime. Walking around the tidal basin next to the Martin Luther King memorial was my favorite.

After two other tour groups cancelled on us Bobby came through. He took us on a tour of DC with lots of interesting facts and jokes along the way. We had time to walk around the monuments and he pointed out important buildings as we drove from place to place. Great way for us to start our visit to DC.

Booking confusion

The Loba Tour Guide has no record of my purchase, I recommend booking directly with the Tour Company

The Lincoln Memorial was nearly empty and it was wonderful to experience it in quiet.

Bobby gave an awesome tour with stories and entertainment. I felt like I was with an old friend. I had plenty of time to walk around at the stops and get the close up view. It’s a great way to see the sites and I highly recommend the tour.

Not what I thought

The tour guide was a very nice and vivacious guy. However, his accent/dialect was so thick I honestly could not understand half of what he said. The windows on the Bus were FILTHY and it was cold out so as soon as our hot breath started steaming them up - not only could you see the filth - but you couldn't see ANYTHING out the window! He did stop at two monuments I had never seen - and that was the highlight of the whole deal. But each stop we got about 10 - 15 minutes to basically RUN to the monument - snap a few pictures and RUN back to the bus. I am too old an fat for this kind of tour. It would have been about the same amount of money to Lyft to each of the spots and take all the time we wanted! Although - we would not have gotten to hear the history behind it. Suppose you could Google and go! Needless to say - I would not do it again....Sorry
