Amazing!

This was a very fun and amazing experience. I loved our tour guide who showed us many historical places along our drive to and from Mt. Vernon. He was very knowledgable and fun. Mt. Vernon itself was very fascinating, and the 3 hours we had there were not nearly enough. However, we got a really good taste of the place, and can better plan for next time. The time of year was perfect too, as it was not too hot or crowded.

Had a great trip to Mount Vernon on Sunday 24th March. We caught the tour bus at the agreed meeting point got there and back with minimum of fuss. The driver Joe was very friendly and chatty, showing us different points of interest we passed in both directions, and giving us a lot of history of everything, including in DC.The property and grounds were very interesting to see and we enjoyed it very much. The only downside for us was the tour could do with being about one hour longer overall,as we had to rush around towards the end to see everything. This said,we would definitely do this again and would strongly recommend it to anyone.

Tour guides in the mansion were knowledgeable and informative. Our van driver was excellent, both in driving and in providing useful information while en-route.

My wife and I had a wonderful time at Mount Vernon touring President George Washingtons house. We also took a quick tour of the city where George Washington us to hang out at. The tour was very relaxing and the tour guide was very knowledgeable of the area. He was also very funny and fun to be with. There was so much to see you could actually spend a whole day there. The tour gave us a very interesting and educational experience. If youre ever in Washington DC you defiantly need to go on this tour.

Person who greeted us was unprofessional with offensive jokes. Tour guide was late arriving and our first stop was closed which the guide was unaware of. Guide provided little other than transportation, the few anecdotes he did contribute were inaccurate. This tour is a waste of money.

This is a wonderful landmark to see...

This is a wonderful landmark to see. Our guide took us there and ensured that we had necessary tickets to do the tour. Once you get past that, you can explore most of the grounds on your own at your leisure. The restaurant and restroom facilities there are well suited to accommodate people of all ages.

Vastly over priced to hitch a ride...

Vastly over priced to hitch a ride to Mt Vernon and a 4 break on the 18 entrance fee and a drive through Alexandria, Get to Mt Vernon yourself - Mt Vernon really worth it, but not worth paying 78 per person

Not great. Tour guide was annoying...

Not great. Tour guide was annoying with stupid jokes instead of information. The mini van was old and uncomfortable. No bottled water as indicated. Not worth the money overall.
