Overview

Washington DC’s monuments and landmarks light up after dark, perfect for dramatic views and memorable photos of the capital city. Explore the sights from the National Mall to the White House and key memorials as your guide provides informative narration about each site. Hop off at select sights to get an up-close look with your small-group and guide. This tour includes transport between locations.
  • Visit the White House and National Mall
  • See landmarks illuminated at night
  • Includes transport between sites
  • Small group for a personal experience
Meet your guide and group at the designated meeting point for your early evening departure, then make your way to the grounds of the United States Capitol. Follow the Presidential Inauguration route down Pennsylvania Avenue to the White House, where you can take in the north side of the building and Lafayette Park, and continue to the Treasury Building, the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, and the Blair House.

Visit the World War II Memorial, then travel on foot to the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial, set at the edge of the Tidal Basin. This is the perfect spot to snap a photo of the Jefferson Memorial across the water. Tour the Korean War Veterans Memorial, and walk up the steps of the Lincoln Memorial for views back towards the US Capitol.

Make the final stop of the night at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial—your guide can assist in finding a name on the wall, as you hear the individual stories behind the war. This tour concludes at the Vietnam Memorial, close to public transport and National Mall sites.

Excellent small group tour. Our family of 5 were the only attendees so we basically had a private tour. Driver (Steve) and tour guide (Gayle) very knowledgeable.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We had a great time with our tour guide, Steve, and driver, Dean. We were able to see all of the important sites DC has to offer without having to walk miles to do it! Steve was very knowledgeable of each memorial we visited and he was able to identify all of the buildings we passed when driving to our next location. Unbelievable the knowledge this man has. Would definitely go again and highly recommend "See DC Today" as your first choice!

It was a fantastic experience we had with Ann Mary and the staff. She knows a lot about the American history, besides feeling in her heart when it comes to some aspects of the history. In the evening is even more special.

Anne Marie & Steve provides a great tour with lots of information and great dropoff/pickups for great pictures and quick pickups. We always had plenty of time at each monument except a little rushed at the Vietnam one.

KathyO
, Mar 2020
Our tour guide Dustin was amazing with his knowledge of all our tour sites. The lights at night really shows off all the monuments, statues and buildings. My photos of the night tour looks awesome and looks great against my daytime photos. I highly recommend the small group tour bus.
