We had Robert as the guide and he was excellent. He was welcoming and very knowledgeable. He made Georgetown history fun with lots of stories and tidbits to share. The food was wonderful as well. We made three stopped, all sit-downs, at an Italian, German, and Mexican restaurants. The food portion was spot on - substantial but not over filling. Everything was very tasty. The pace for the tour was optimal also. Each person was handed a mini (very cute) cherry pie as a parting gift. Excellent! I would recommend it to anyone!!

Robert was so knowledgeable about Georgetown history and American history. The tour was nicely paced to see noteworthy sites in the neighborhood (cool little JFK facts included) as well as a nice sampling of different foods. We had Italian, German, Mexican, and a nice pie for dessert - come hungry! We were so appreciative of Robert’s hospitality. Already recommended his trip to another family coming to visit.

Suzanne was amazing. My only complaint on this tour was the first restaurant we went to, was the best one. Flavio's needed to be saved for last. All of the restaurants were great. This history part of the tour was simply amazing.

It was okay

Our guide, Mike, continually boasted about the many years he has been guiding large groups, yet he was often confused as to where we were, looking at his phone for prompts. I found it odd that he would share photos of his former wife w me, including details of their failed relationship. (I was with my spouse) it was creepy. The portions of food were large, all local shops & ethnic.

Fun and FULL!

Though we had a rainy afternoon, our guide was very accomodating moving us quickly to the next stopping point and providing as much history as possible. The first 3 stops included Italian, Korean BBQ, and Mexican fare. The quantity and quality of food was amazing. We didn't need dinner afterwards. In fact, we wanted to return to 2 of the places later in our trip but it didn't work out. The last stop was a pie shop for dessert. This was just 'okay' to me (I'm more of a cookie/cake girl)...maybe because we were already so full? However, it was nice to end the tour with a sweet stop. I would definitely recommend this tour to learn about the history of Georgetown and, most importantly, to try some amazing food!
