Lost bus
, Oct 2020
Spent more time waiting and finding the bus rather than being on it. I saw more circulator buses and this service is free. Also saw hop on hop off trolley service but the big bus was hard to find. Had a weekend lass and literally was only able to find and ride it twice once on Saturday and once on Sunday.

Margaret: We are sorry that you did not have an enjoyable experience because you were lost. Before your trip, you contacted us and we provided you with accurate information. Unfortunately you opted to follow a different path which was the cause of your mishap. Regardless, we stayed in contact with you personally throughout your experience to help guide you and even offered to pick you up from different points in the city off route in order that you could meet the bus. If you should ever decide to visit again, we would be happy to work with you so that you can experience Big Bus HOHO in a better way.
Unreliable!! Choose a different service
, Oct 2020
Purchased two day pass and the bus never stopped at the designated locations ... waited over 2 hrs at 2 different stops on two different days ... had to purchase a different tour company to see the sights. Tried calling company ... phone not in service ... talked to tech support for the app they said buses are running as expected. App showed buses sitting at stop 1 for more than 3 hrs
DC in one day
, Sep 2020
The tour was exactly what we needed to see DC in a day. It captured major parts of DC. My family loved it.
Waiting Too Long
, Aug 2020
Wasted an entire afternoon trying to get on the bus. The app map is not accurate to where the bus travels. We missed two busses wasting two hours, and finally gave up. The next day, the same, we were waiting on the wrong side of a hotel. When the bus did not show, we ran to the other side of the hotel just in time. We got off for lunch, got back on just as the bus driver took a 30 minute break. This is an audio guided tour, no guide. It's great if you like Sousa marches.
Use two loops!
, Mar 2020
We started at Union Station. The girl at the kiosk was extremely helpful! We had purchased the Classic tickets, so we started on the red loop. Our live guide was very humorous and informative. When we reached the Washington monument, we switched to the Blue loop, as recommended. Our goal was to get to Georgetown and that is where the Blue Loop took us. Fun afternoon!
Mixed reviews
, Feb 2020
There were 4 of us that went and we drove down from New Jersey and I wanted my dad to go but unfortunately he fell and ended up staying at the union station to wait for us I tried to cancel his ticket but it would not let me just cancel 1 ticket and so I ended up canceling all 4 and ended buying 3 more I want to to be refunded for the first 4 tickets I bought. We could not have foreseen my dad falling and getting getting to go on the tour. Also we came back on friday and did a little more we enjoyed it but I don't like being double charged. The women women I worked with at the station were wonderful and very helpful.
We drove to our own destinations
, Feb 2020
We didn’t make it because there wasn’t any buses that left later than 4:30! I wish we could’ve made it but because of traffic travel, it made it harder for us.
Almost Worthless, actually torture

I found this service almost worthless. Traveled with 3 adults (one handicapedand 1 child. In the early am went to Arlington and when ready to return had to wait a half hour in the pouring rain, after which after a line transfer,we decided to get off for lunch at the train station where we arrived at 3;30 or so, The transfer in the process involved another long wait in the rain and when we got to the train station we were told the next and last bus that would take us back to our hotel was at 4! Rediculous! For $149 we could have gone door to door in a taxi or subway ., all of us, for far lessmoney. I want my money back......
Ok but nothing special
, Dec 2019
Customer service ok but could have been better Busses stop going to early in the evening. Not easy to find buss tops.
Too much walking
, Nov 2019
Very good getting somewhat near all of the attractions in Washington DC. However, you are very far from your attraction and involves a lot of walking after you get off the bus. Walking is it sound for you you have a great difficulty in seeing all of you tractions because we are talking I half to after you get off the bus at your stop. We are both 72 yo and could not handle all of the walking.
