The guide was very good indeed and very interesting. We enjoyed the tour immensely as it gave us background before our visit to the Palace. The interior of the Palace was very impressive.

Save your sanity and time and skip the line. This tour is worth every cent. Knowledgeable guide, too. And the bus tour is a great way to get to know the city when you arrive as a first time visitor.

Smart way to visit the palace

This is the best way to enjoy the Schönnberg Palace. Even in February, there were lines and crowds. Skip the line is worth every cent. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and funny. The bus tour was a good way to get one’s bearings on a first-time visit to Vienna.

Beautiful snow covered Palace

This tour was fantastic. We received a lot of information from the guide on the way to the Palace as well as a wonderful guided tour inside the Palace. We were given a lot of free time to explore the garden which we absolutely loved seeing covered in a light layer of snow. Highly recommend this tour.

Excellent, well organised excursion. From the pick up on a first class coach, to the guides giving informative and interesting commentary right through to the tour of the palace the whole event was top class.

The tour meeting point was well defined and the check-in host was expecting us. The bus tour of Vienna was well organized. The palace tour was very interesting, including much of its story in detail.

Schonbrun Palace

The guide was not very good. He rushed through the rooms in the Schonbrunn Palace and had a very limited time to walk around the grounds. We were disappointed of the tour.

Rude tour guide made the experience worthless

The sites were good. However during the outdoor part of the Schonbrunn Palace, our tour guide publically scolded and humiliated my wife for an easy 30 seconds all because she was taking a picture while he was talking and thought she wasn't paying attention to his meetup instructions. I was disgusted, as were other patrons. He never apologized either. I dont remember his name, but he was in his 40s-50s with grey hair and a blue jacket for the saturday november 16 tour.

Must See Attraction

The sheer size of the Palace with in excess of 1,400 rooms is fantastic. Obviously you don't get to see all the rooms. There are different tours but we saw 24 rooms maybe more. The opulence of the decoration is incredible. My favourite room was the room where the archduke signed his resignation papers. The ballroom is incredible to think that such a room was lit up by so many candles.

The tour guide was excellent. She gave a clear history of the attractions in Vienna. She explained very well each room’s history of the Schonbrunn Palace.
