Easy, better than doing it on your own

This tour was perfect. We took the train ourselves to Versailles (be sure to buy your return ticket when you depart). Arrived around 9:30 AM, got a Starbucks right next to the office for our 10 am tour check-in, which is also directly across the street from the station when you exit. You can't miss this meeting point. Our group was about 30, and we walked about 10 mins up to the street to Palace entrance. After waiting only a few mins, we were inside. Guide had audio sets for all, so we could hear throughout. If you are debating whether to do this on your own, like I did, I really recommend you book with this type of group. It's not hard to get there on your own and meet up with the group. Having the extra context was very valubale to what we were seeing. So glad we didn't do the palace's own audio tour. The whole experience was about 1.5 hours which was great because we didn't want to spend all day.

Awesome visit. Informative guide. Recommended. The tour was great because of the guide, she was very knowledgeable and led us all through. Never felt separated. She kept the group so involved

We took train from Paris to Versailles and got off train right across the street from office to check in with our printed tickets. Met with our guide and walked to the chateau. The whole trip was so easy and guide was personable and informative. Would recommend.

Well worth it- although the palace wasn’t busy when we arrived it was quick, easy access. Our guide,Ailllette was charming, friendly and knowledgeable. A truly wonderful experience despite the cold wet weather

The Remarkable Palace of Versailles

The Palace is truly amazing! We participated in the 75 minute guided tour (in English) and our guide's name was Clotilde. She was from Paris, her English was excellent, and she had a great sense of humour! Clotilde was very knowledgeable, and she was able to provide the historical and cultural/political background for every room we visited. I highly recommend a tour of the Palace of Versailles, and Clotilde made it all the more enjoyable.

Anna-Sophia was great! Loved her. So knowledgeable! My only disappointment was that the tour moved very quickly and you had to keep up which didn’t leave much time for relishing the rooms

We had a great experience with Anne Sophie. The headphones worked out perfectly so that we could hear. The information was interesting and the pace was not too long or too brief.

Great tour with Isabelle

Isabelle was quite knowledgeable. The tour was good. We were on the fence about finding our own way there via train or booking a tour with transport from Paris. We were glad we went with this option. Taking the Train from Paris was very easy. It was nice to have as much time as we wanted after the tour.

Waste

Most of our Paris vacation was compromised by the strikes, We were late to our tour because the train system was down due to these strikes. I contacted you guys and was told we could do the tour at 3. Well that was 2 hours later and we needed to head to the Louvre by 5 because it was closed the day prior due to strikes and we had tickets for that day. This was our last day in Paris so we had to squeeze it all in. I told the tour guide we couldn’t do 3, but they scheduled us anyway. We decided to walk Versailles on our own. During the tour, I was pick pocketed and my phone was taken. When we got back to the hotel, I used my fiancé’s phone to contact to try and get a refund. Everywhere we bought tickets refunded us because of the strikes. Not this company though. They told me they couldn’t refund me because they “bought” us tickets for the 3 pm tour. I specified to the tour guide that we couldn’t do 3 because we had to go to the Louvre for our other tour. Contacted them back to tell them I never said we would do 3. No response. Waste of money and it was due to their miscommunication. Just buy the tickets at Versailles for 16 euros and walk it yourself and save the headache.

Worth it!!

We arrived at Versailles and saw a huge and long line (it’s a Sunday btw). And we were directed to a separate entrance and we definitely did skip the line. If not for this, we would have waited for 2 hrs just to get in. It was crowded inside, good thing we have audio and we can still hear our guide, Philippe.
