Was the perfect tour and experience. The ferry ride over was easy and fun. The glass blowing was so interesting. My teen and tween were captivated. The jewelry making was engaging. The guide was friendly and helpful. The guide at the factory was knowledge and took his time. Everyone was incredibly nice without being pushing about buying something. Overall was quite fun!

We really enjoyed our tour. The craftsmen were amazing and we were able to make some jewelry from glass beads made at the factory. Amazing Artisans

The glass factory in Murano is something everyone should see. The artistic quality of the products is fantastic. Seeing in person how they make these fine pieces of art is a great experience.

Just a high priced tourist trap to subject you to pressure sales tactics.

A total joke and waste of time and money. Just an excuse to get you on their sales room and try to force you to buy something. The worst tour I have ever been on.

We had a great tour guide who walked us through Venice to get to the Murano water taxi and gave us interesting facts and overview as we went along. And the folks at the Murano Glass Factory were very personable and interested in us having a great experience. Lots of fun! Not too mention the beautiful glass works.

Basic tour, exactly as it says in the description

Fine, basically what it says on the description. A guide meets you at the meeting point, helps guide you onto the right water-bus then leaves as you get to the factory. Then a short time watching a glass maker make a horse and a cup, then onto the craft station. Very basic, a quick arts and craft thing, threading beads onto glass, probably more targeted at the under 12 crowd, unfortunately they weren't keen for you to leave once down, so i ended up wasting a bit of time -over 15 min- waiting for others to finish, before they show you to the show room and then you can leave. Showroom seemed over priced, even with the 20% discount, that was the same as other glass makers in the area. The glass making episode was also the same as you can get for 3 Euro in all the other factories, so it seemed a bit over priced for the rather ordinary beading session, but if you are really nervous about navigating the water-buses, having someone to explain it is very helpful, and the guide was very good about that.

I met Valentina at the designated meeting spot and we took the water bus (15 Euro round trip, not included in tour price) to Murano. We walked a short distance to the glass factory, where Fabio met us & took me to see a demonstration by Master Pena. Fabio explained the process, materials used, etc., & answered all my questions. After the demonstration, Valentina took me to the "craft room", where I chose & strung the beads for a bracelet (the other choices were a pair of earrings or a small mosaic). She was so patient with me, as there were so many beads to choose from! Valentina finished the bracelet by knotting between the beads and adding the clasp. I was then escorted to the showroom, which consisted of 7 rooms of beautiful glass, & I was given a 20% discount on anything I purchased. I happened to be the only person on the tour, so I felt really special. Great tour & I have a beautiful bracelet as a keepsake.

Wow what an excursion. Enjoyed the glass demonstration and tour. It was amazing seeing a glass horse created before our eyes. We had rain that day and was suppose to take public transportation to Murano. Tour company arranged for a private water taxi at no extra expense to keep us dry. Very thoughtful! Mosaic class was great everyone enjoyed.

Murano Glass Factory Tour

The glass blowing demo was very interesting. However, we never got to make a piece of jewelry with the glass as was promoted in the tour description. Most of our tour time was spent in the gift shop, not learning about the history of Murano glass, as I would have preferred.

We had a fantastic tour guide. He arranged for us to get there and back. The price didn't include transportation, but our guide got us there and back no problem with public transport. We had a great time watching them blow the glass and we got to make our own bracelets and earrings.
