Hello, we had a problem with our gondola tour, we didn't find the location to take the tickets, we asked for different people and there wasn't anything in the place that they indicated us. We called to the number that it's in the booking area in case of a issue and nobody answered. In the end we didn't have had our ride. So I was wondering if we could have our money back because as you see, it wasn't our fault, we tried and tried. But there was no sign of the place to take our tickets.

A good way to experience without spending too much

A good way to sample a Venice classic on a budget. I think a group of friends would be good for this. A group of strangers can be odd and of course the two main seats are the best to sit at. Once in you shouldn’t move about so no swapping about. The ride is good enough and you get to go along a quiet canal. This format is definitely not for the romantic couple but enjoyable enough to experience.

Thoroughly enjoyed this! It was a little odd for me being the only solo person but I wasn’t made to feel awkward at all. The gondolier pointed out a few points of interest during our tour and everyone was very pleasant. Only downside - it does cost more online that it does to pay at the venue which is usually the other way round.

Avoid this at all costs. Not as advertised, gondolier does not speak to you. The route is random. Waste of money. Ps the ticket office is hard to find

Great deal, my kids and I loved it. Went through charming small side canals and briefly entered Gran Canal near the stunning Rialto Bridge. Bonus, the people we shared the gondola with were very nice. If you want to check gondola ride in Venice off your list for the experience, this is definitely the one. If you want a personalized enthusiastic or romantic tour, this is not the one.

Booking was simple and the women at the meeting place was very nice. But the actual gondola ride was very underwhelming. The gondolas were beautiful, but that’s about it. The gondolier didn’t say one word the entire trip, which was closer to 23-25 minutes and not 30. The scenery was prob the most boring canals I’ve seen in Venice. And we simply went through a few small canals out to the grand canal, turned around, and went back the same way. Again, very underwhelming.

Nothing extraordinary, just a drive on a Gondola, nice view and that’s it. The gondola only pass by the grand canale (about 5’)

If you are a couple and cant budget the private gondola then dont bother with this. 6 people ride so a 1/3 chance you will sit next to your loved one. In our experience we were completely separated. If you want the true experience you need to budget for the private tour. Dont waste your money on this !
