Excellent way to see Victoria without having to plan transportation!

What a great way to save time on a day trip to Victoria! The seaplane ride was about 35 minutes and all ran smoothly. I was impressed by the seaplane office - they have a very nice free coffee bar so you can get a beverage while you wait to board. Take off and landing were smooth, and you land very centrally in the city of Victoria. We chose this option so that we could see what we wanted. We grabbed breakfast at Jam Café, walked through Chinatown, walked through the downtown area to the Parliament building, then cabbed it out to Butchart Garden. The cab ride there was about 30 minutes and cost $50 one way. I believe there is a bus you can also take that is less expensive (but takes longer), but you have to watch the clock so the bus could be difficult. We took the 8:30 seaplane, landed shortly after 9, then had to be at the bus terminal in downtown Victoria (behind the Empress Hotel) by 3:15. We boarded the bus at 3:45, drove to the ferry terminal (which took about 40 minutes). The bus drove on to the ferry. We exited the bus (You aren't allowed to remain in your vehicle), sat up and enjoyed the 1.5 hour ferry ride to Vancouver. About 15 minutes before you dock, you walk back down to the bus and it drives you off the ferry and heads for Vancouver. That drive took about 45 minutes (the ferry terminal is a fair way outside Vancouver). It leaves you out at the Vancouver bus terminal, which may or may not be walkable from your hotel. We noticed a couple people get off at hotels we passed, so we hopped off at one of those stops so we could walk to our hotel. We got back to our hotel around 7:15. Overall, this is a great way to see Victoria on your own without having to worry about transport to and from.
On your own

I thought this tour included local guide for city tour but this is on your own, I needed to buy city bus hop on hop off to see around at Victoria island until the bus started at 10:30am, I enjoyed seaplane ride and shuttle bus at ferry ride for return back downtown city, however the final drop off at Pacific centre train station was far away from the Canada Place where we started, but overall is good experience, thanks
Great Day!

Great experience, but it took me at least an hour with the internet and phone calls to figure out where to go to catch the plane and to catch the return bus trip.
This is a fantastic tour...

This is a fantastic tour - unfortunately the day we went was a bit impacted by wet weather so the views over the city and the Straits from the plane werent as good as we hoped, especially in terms of taking photos. By the time we returned on the ferry the weather had cleared and it was picturesque sailing through the Gulf Islands late in the afternoon. This is a good package.
This is just a fantastic trip to do, it...
