From the start to the end of the cruise, the staff were courteous and hospitable. The cruise started on time , it was amazing with live music and one could walk around. We enjoyed the dinner served but for Asians you may want to carry hot sauce or request for one. The weather was simply amazing we seen the sun set . A cruise worth doing if you're traveling first time like me

Nice evening around the harbor with Great Views

Very nice sunset dinner cruise even though it was raining. Excellent music and the food was good. What could make this better would be including drinks in the excursion at an increased cost. They were a bit pricy ala carte

The serive, food and entertainment was great. The boarding time was half an hour before departure and the cruise left right on time. The drink size were super small for the price

My experience
Cheryl_J
, May 2022
I just emailed Harbour Cruise to explain they should have a no perfume policy. I have asthma and after 4 attempts to regulate my breathing I had to go outside on deck just to be able to breath. All what Harbour Cruise came back with was sorry hope you feel better soon. It could have gotten a lot worse.

Less than desirable
Linda_W
, May 2022
The most memorable part of this dinner cruise will be that the service was terrible! We should have guessed when we waited 20 minutes to board. Once we got on board we sat at our table and waited for over an hour before anyone came to ask if we wanted a drink. We finally got our drinks about 20 minutes later and from that point on the white staff never came back and asked if we wanted another drink. She waited on tables before us but never looked up to see if anyone else needed anything. We were sitting upstairs and the Buffay of food was downstairs. It was less than desirable to carry a plate of food up the stairs. In addition, this cruise is described as being a narrated cruise. There was no narration at all. The two man band on the cruise was ok. This is not something I would want to do again in Vancouver and we definitely not recommend it to anyone. It is understandable that they may have been understaffed, but that is no excuse to ignore patrons. This is not a cruise that I would want to go on again nor would I recommend it to anyone.

Hi Linda, Thanks for bringing all your concerns to us. We sincerely apologize that we did not meet your expectations on our Sunset Dinner Cruise. Harbour Cruises has been out of operations for the past two years and our relaunch has been a bit challenging in particular to staffing deficiencies on our cruises, again our apologies. We are diligently working on it and have been putting all efforts into hiring and training of our new staff. I will say we are working at getting back to the great service that we have been known for over the past 46 years of being in the hospitality cruise business. Things have improved immensely over the past few days. Thanks again for your feed-back we are going to rectify all of your concerns and get back providing a service that all our customers will be happy with.

The worst dinner cruise ever!
Diane_P
, May 2022
Well, where do I start. We arrived at 6:25 PM. Supposed to start boarding at 6:30. They started at 6:50. Then we get on board and we go upstairs. Lead to our table no problem. We sit there for an hour before anyone comes to ask us if we would like something to drink. It seemed that the whole row that we were sitting in except for two tables down by the bar was sitting there waiting for someone to come and ask us for a drink. Then a gentleman two tables down finally caught a hold of one of the white staff and she bought him his drink but completely ignored the rest of the row of tables. Well, we waited for about another 20 minutes. The gentleman who got his drink looked at the bar and said oh I see your drink up there. 10 minutes later I went up there and it was there I asked her for it she goes oh OK I said there’s supposed to be another drink with it. She said OK I’ll get that and get it right down to you. 20 minutes later we are still waiting for our drink. To say that this was bad service is an understatement! She kept coming back to the row but just waiting on that one man and not even looking our way. Not even looking! Then we went downstairs for the Buffay style dinner the food was OK. But walking upstairs with a plate of food in your hand it’s not the easiest thing in the world to do. Then we tried to catch her eye to get another drink. Well that was impossible. We wanted more rolls. We got rolls after our dessert. Also, one of the main reasons why we went on this cruise was for the narrative, to tell us all about Vancouver the water we were on, etc. No narrative whatsoever! So, you tell me, what do we pay for! We will not go again and we will not I repeat not, recommend this to anyone.

The cruise route was scenic, but the staff performance/service was lacklustre. Could see the cruise being very good if staff had more experience & training.

Cruise company and staff excellent, the experience was great. The Booking company Viator, not so good. Unable to contact by phone, not flexible to make changes and add more people to booking. Did not give clear instruction that you have to pick up your paper ticket at the booking office. Book direct with Harbour Sunset direct and save all the hassle.

City lights

We enjoyed a wonderful evening dinner cruise. The city lights were spectacular and the service was good. We wished they would’ve had some narrative during the cruise to tell us what we were looking at, it all in all, a nice evening.
