Departure Point

Traveler pickup is offered
Pick up points start from Valletta at 7.45am via Marfa/Cirkewwa. Pickup points that are not on our route, will be guided by us to the nearest pick up point allocated.
It is very important that when you book, kindly note down where you will be staying, in order for us to give you the pickup instructions on confirmation.

Departure Time

8:00 AM
Begin with hotel pickup in Gozo or north Malta. Unless you are in a group of three or more, south Malta hotel pickups are not provided, and you will need to travel independently to the Gozo ferry departure point.

Then, meet at the Gozo quad base, listen to a safety briefing, and hop on your own quad bike as a driver or passenger (depending on option selected).

Next, set off behind your guide into Gozo’s rugged countryside. Follow dusty trails and stop for photos at beauty spots including the Qala Belvedere, Calypso Cave, and more. Ride through the picturesque Simar and Ramla valleys, Victoria, and Marsalforn Bay, and pause at Gozo’s coastal salt pans, Inland Sea, Fungus Rock, Quarries, Ta' Pinu, Kercem Heights, Xlendi, and other scenic spots.

Along the way, stop for food-tasting and shopping, and savor a 3-course lunch, including soup or pasta, fish, chicken, or pork, and dessert, all with soda, water, juice, or tea or coffee.

Afterward, enjoy a return 4x4 transfer to your Gozo hotel or, if your hotel is in Malta, a 20-minute return powerboat ride via the sea caves at Comino. Your tour then finishes with a drop-off at the original starting point.
Itinerary
Stop At:
Dwejra Bay
Dwejra, with its dramatic coastal formations and sea spilling over the rocks, is a magical attraction. Here you can swim in the spectacular deep sea of the bay, in the calm shallows of the inland sea or in the foamy waters around the Blue Hole – one of Gozo’s top dive-sites. Dwejra is also home of the Fungus Rock or, as it is locally known, “Il-Ġebla tal-Ġeneral”, General’s Rock. It is so called in remembrance of the Italian General who centuries ago fell to his death while supervising quarrying in the area. History tells us that a special plant believed to have medicinal and healing properties used to grow on Fungus Rock and because of this the Rock used to be heavily guarded during the era of the Knights of Malta. Anyone caught stealing the crop was sentenced to death or to a life rowing the Knights’ galleys. The crop was picked and brought to the mainland using a primitive system of baskets and pulleys.

Stop At:
Xwejni Salt Pans
On the north coast of Gozo, just past Qbajjar Bay west of Marsalforn, the coast is characterised by a chequerboard of rock-cut saltpans protruding into the sea. These 350-year-old salt pans, which stretch about 3km along the coast, are more than just scenic. They are part of the centuries-old Gozitan tradition of Sea-Salt production that has been passed down within certain families for many generations. During the summer months, locals can still be seen scraping up the crystals of salt. Once collected, the salt is stored and processed in the caves that have been carved into the coastal rock.

Stop At:
Ramla Bay
This is Gozo’s, and arguably Malta’s, best beach. A wide stretch of red sand, it is often referred to locally as “Ramla il-Ħamra” – the Red Sandy Beach! Ramla is a wonderful place to swim, snorkel and chill out in the sun. The area around the beach is wonderfully undeveloped, although there are a couple of cafes and a stall set back from the beach. The sand dunes are protected and the valley leading down to the bay is green and fertile. The terraced walls built by the farmers give the valley an appearance of a quilt when viewed from surrounding high ground. There is myth and history here too. Roman remains lie beneath the sands and Ramla Bay is reached from ix-Xagħra, on one of the hills overlooking the valley, or from the village of in-Nadur.

Stop At:
Marsalforn
Marsalforn is one of the most popular resort on the Island. In summer it throbs with life as hundreds of Gozitan and Maltese families move in to spend the summer at the coast and foreign visitors arrive for a revitalising dose of sun and sea. A beach of sand and small pebbles is backed by a promenade which runs right round the head of the bay, providing a pleasant place to stroll at all times of year and a traditional summer evening gathering place for local families and visitors alike.

Ghasri
Ghasri Valley, or Wied il-Ghasri is a breathtaking, narrow creek that seems right out of a postcard. Ghasri Valley’s narrow cove is approximately 300 metres long with a winding inlet and rugged, impressive high cliffs on both sides and about 100 steps down.
Stop At:
Inland Sea
The Inland Sea, sometimes called Qawra in Maltese and also known as Dwejra, is a lagoon of seawater on the island of Gozo linked to the Mediterranean Sea through an opening formed by a narrow natural arch. It was probably formed where a geological fault in the limestone had created a sea cave and the roof then collapsed.

Xlendi Beach, Cliff and Caves
Ix-Xlendi Bay is a popular swimming, snorkelling and diving spot. There is a small sandy beach leading into shallow waters perfect for young and old, while for the more adventurous it is deslightful to swim and snorkel in deeper water off the long stretch of rocks bordering the beach. Because of its reef formations, ix-Xlendi is an ideal diving site, even for beginners. This is also a typical Gozitan fishing village and well-served with good restaurants, bars and hotels.

We throughly enjoyed our quad bike tour of Gozo, it was a unique and incredibly fun experience. Lunch is decent enough and included in the price. The transfers worked out really smoothly also. Everyone involved was great, our guides were fantastic and we always felt safe on the quads. We’d highly recommend this tour!!

So much fun, great tour guide!

Our tour guide was amazing and very patient, knowledgeable and helpful. The four wheeling experience was so much fun! Going to the towns, beaches and sights within Gozo on four wheelers was probably the most fun way to experience the island. The lunch was also very good.

Nice sights. Poor staff attitude.

It felt a bit rushed but overall it was a good day. We got to see a few different places on Gozo. The reason I marked this down was due to the attitude of a Maltese gentleman who was a member of staff driving one of the Tuk Tuk's. For some reason or another they couldn't find the key's to one of the quad bikes at the end of the tour. He accused someone in our group of theft. Also I found our English guide to be impatient and patronising. He wanted me to drive faster but as I was new to a quad I wasn't going to rush and endanger myself. I'm also on holiday so I want to absorb the sights. He also shouted at one of our group as they needed to use the toilet. It made us a few minutes behind schedule so not the end of the world in my view, it was to him! I would of rated this 5 stars had the attitude of the staff been better.

Drive it like you stole it

This was a fun and enjoyable day. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys having the wind blow through their hair, riding ATVs and getting a grounds eye view of Gozo Island. Lunch is included and it actually very tasty. There are many areas to take great pics. ...and if you are a souvenir person such as myself, you will enjoy the stop at the gift shop where you will receive wine and cheese (included with the full day package). The boat ride is pretty cool too. The one drawback was being unable to open it up. I definitely wanted to drive it like I stole it but there really wasn’t a place to do that.

Funnest day in Malta!

This excursion is simply awesome! We had such a fun time rolling though the streets and hillsides of Gozo. The quads are simple to drive. You do drive on the main streets with other traffic from time to time, which was a little daunting at first, but our guide, and the drives on Gozo are very patient. We did not need an international license. The ones we had from USA worked just fine. Lots of pit stops for photos and plenty of free time to explore the larger sites.

had a great tour, just four of us, very organised from pick up to return, even if some things do need a bit of an update, great way to view the island, and our guide could speak at least three languages, and kept us safe all the way, really enjoyed the trip

A little dissapointed

Not sure this should be a full day, we barely drove the quads over 15kmph, it just felt the day was being dragged out. I think most people want to hire Quads for some fun - otherwise you might as well sit on the local tour bus. Stopped at some nice places, staff lovely and Gozo definitely worth a visit. Perhaps I just expected a little more based on similar Quad excursions I've done before.
