Wow the Canadian History along with the history of dino’s and man. They have more artifacts than I have ever seen over the coarse of my 47 years combined. Take your time and enjoy every part.

Much to see

The museum includes much culture and artifacts from throughout the world. We spent over seven hours exploring the place. The only negative about the place is that the lighting is dim around some displays which makes it difficult to read the information.

ROM is a great museum that is enjoyable for you and your family. My favorite is the Natural History gallery which boasts our rich biodiversity and how it is continuously being threatened by invasive human beings. Definitely learned a lot from this exhibit!

Great day at the ROM!

Jackson LOVED the bat cave! He went through many times! The hands on Biodiversity area was great too. The room with all the birds and the area with the insects were very enjoyable. The Great Whale Exhibit was awesome, as was, of course, the dinosaurs! We were pleasantly surprised with how well the cafe flowed and prices were reasonable. We were disappointed things in the gift shop were extremely overpriced. We were hoping to just get a little something to remember our day.

Paid to "skip the line" then had to wait in ticket line for 30 minutes.
Ivan_I
, Oct 2021
VIator does not provide "skip the line" service because the code cannot be scanned by the Royal Ontario Museum scanners. Embarrassingly, we were forced to go back to the line for people purchasing tickets then told that out tickets cannot be scanned by the ROM scanners. The ROM staff were generous enough to give us free tickets otherwise we would have lost out on the experience. Useless service. I do not recommend.

Love the ROM!

The museum was fantastic! The Viator process was ridiculous. You don't skip the line, you have to present your download so they can scan it and give you a ticket. The site was easy but a waste of time.

We had a great time, staff were very informative, our only complaint - there were young children running around everywhere and making a lot of noise - our complaint is not that there were lots of children but the fact they were not adequately supervised, a museum is not the place for playtime.

There are so many historical artifacts there that I wish I had reserved more time to peruse it all more closely. Would advise visitors to set aside at least 4 -6 hours to go through the museum. Went with my adult daughter.

What a lovely time my sister and I had at the museum. As educators, we toured the Treasure exhibit and was blown away. We learned a lot about the history, and culture of India. The gift shop allowed us to purchase books and cultural artifacts.to use in our classroom with our students. What a wonderful place to learn and explore. Then Johnson Gilrs

I have been to many museums around the world. The ROM is certainly in my top five. It's paleontology section is without peer. It's natural history and minerology sections are well done. The archeological collection is quite comprehensive and the Tableau of historical rooms, though of little pers....

Ann Marie
, Jan 2017
So glad that I bought my tickets ahead of time. There was a line out side to get into the building. Then there was another line in the building to purchase tickets. Then the line to get into museum. They should have had scheduled times for the Dale Chihuly exhibit. We did not wait the 3 plus hours in that line. Instead we walk through the entire museum.
