Overview

Experience one of Japan’s most ancient traditions during a 1.5-hour tea ceremony experience in a Tokyo. As you cruise along one of two routes, both of which offer views of Tokyo’s top attractions, you’ll witness the ceremonial preparation and delivery of a Japanese tea ceremony. Pleasure your palate with a bento box and sake or beer, and enjoy a Matcha tea tasting session. Upgrade to include entry to a traditional Japanese sword fight performance on this small-group tour, limited to eight people.

The sailing course you’ve selected determines your Tokyo departure point: begin your tour at either Nihonbashi Port or Asashio Port, where you’ll board your boat and take a seat.

As you cruise past landmarks such as Tokyo Tower, Rainbow Bridge, Hamarikyu Gardens, and Tokyo Bay, depending on the route chosen, your host performs a scared tea ceremony that adheres to ancient Japanese traditions. 

Then, pleasure you palate with a bento box filled with local delicacies and enjoy a Matcha tea tasting session before disembarking the boat at your original departure point.

If you’ve upgraded to enjoy a traditional sword fight, your guide directs you to the location at the end of your tour.
