Narita is a lovely town. We walked down a street of small shops of all sorts. Had tea in a tea room. Visited the 1000 year old temple and saw a ceremony taking place there. the town is busy but not crowded. Our guide was very welcoming and knowledgeable. The local train was easy to find and take from the airport one stop. It was a great way to spend our layover time.
