Discovering the mysterious Ninja World!!!

Discovering the mysterious Ninja world with descendants of the Musashi Clan was an incomparable and unique experience. We felt immensely privileged and honoured to have witnessed and practised a multi-centenary art. Our instructor thoroughly guided us through all the Ninja techniques and way of life. It was important for us to have been able to be photographed during our session since memories can easily fade away and having evidences of our experience was essential for us. The venue was very impressive thanks to its decoration and to the atmosphere which were cultivating the mysterious ambience inside the dojo. We warmly thank the team for their commitment and their professionalism and above all, for their generosity during our 90-minute tour. Best wishes to all of them and may the Ninja art endure for the centuries to come. We will be hopefully coming back for a samurai training session in the future.

Thank you very much for taking time to write for us. We feel sad to see a lot of entertainment places try to promote prototype ninja image of movies, but we know people like yourselves come to our place are not expecting just to have fun. Your words encourage us to keep on introducing the timeless wisdom of our ancestors. Thank you so much to have found us and come all the way. All the best.

An Honour and a Privilege to Do This

I have a deep passion for traditional weapons and being able to gain a small insight into the ninja arts through this experience is a great honour. The philosophy of family and protection is something that resonates deeply with me as it is an integral part of my own Maori culture and I was amazed to learn that it is one of the core beliefs of ninja. It is awe inspiring how the ninja ancestors took everyday implements and turned them into weapons. As each weapon was shown and explained to me my amazement grew and grew. I thoroughly enjoyed the blindfolded exercise, and learning the truth about the throwing stars and not the Hollywood take on them. The coaching they gave me on how to throw them related to whanau (family), and when I heard that my aim improved. It was these little tips and insights to help that kept on amazing me and my awe for my teachers and the ninja arts grew. They are amazing teachers and I have no hesitation in recommending that anyone, who wants a real insight into ninja arts do this. If you have a passion for traditional weapons and enjoy exploring styles outside of your own, then do this - you will not regret it! If you have not done any type of traditional weapons, but are interested, then this would be perfect for you to get first hand experience by excellent teachers. It was an honour and a privilege to meet you both and learn from you. I am still in awe of what I learnt and still buzzing from my time with you. Domo arigatou gozaimasu どうもございまずいます

Incredible training experience

I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Japan, who wishes to learn about the culture and history of Ninjas from this very hospitable and friendly clan. Vanessa greeted us as planned and was the main English speaker, the two gentleman put on an incredible display of their skills, also training us in such ways allowing us to practice in stimulated scenarios. Over 90 minutes of sheer joy, respect, a little fear but without a doubt the most enjoyable experience we have done in a month touring Japan. Thank you for being such lovely hosts, arigatogozaimashita 🙏 Mal, Phil and Neil (rugby boys 🏉)

The time with big rugby guys was fantastic. We enjoyed training with you. Some people learn fast and when the senior instructor feels it fit, something a bit different takes place... You know, by meeting people like yourselves, we have learned Rugby has very rich culture. Thank you for taking time to come to Japan and then to us.

Both my 12 year old daughter and 14 year old son did this ninja experience. The english guide was very helpful . This was a great cultural experience and highlight for my kids full of fun memories. Both my husband and i were allowed to watch and take photos. A must do experience when travelling in japan for kids .

Thank you. We sincerely hope your kids have gotten more than just having fun. We feel it's our mission to introduce our ways of thinking. Hope the young people get to see our ways of life that a ninja is not a fighter but a quiet person walking the path for harmony. Wishing all the best for you and your kids.

Both the instructor and I enjoyed meeting you and getting to know you. You are courageous to come to our place by yourself and you made us very happy. That's exactly what we expect from an excellent kunoichi,(female ninja) who can assume a leadership role. Wish you good luck.

I took the training with my 8-year old son. We dont speak Japanese, however, we didnt feel like we were lacking any communication as the Ninja team did a great job speaking English. The experience started with a demonstration by the Master Ninja. It was amazing gave us goose bumps. Then the team introduced us to the history of ninja and overviewed the various tools and weapons. We had hands-on exercise in ninja walk, sward fighting using safe wooden mock-ups for swards, shuriken throwing, and use of blow gun. In the end, there was a mission where we would need to sneak into a castle and avoid guards on the way back. The 90 minutes flew by fast. It was a fun, safe, and entertaining experience, one of the best activities we participated in Tokyo. My 8-year old son was fascinated. Two thumbs up! And Thank You to the Ninja Team!

We booked this for our 3 boys: 12, 14 and 16 and they absolutely loved it - it was definitely one of the highlights of our 2-week Japan tour. I and my husband were allowed to stay for the first few minutes while the ninja instructor did a demonstration of moves with his swords beautiful and exciting to watch and after that we were asked to leave. The boys were given robes to wear and were shown basic fighting and stealth moves, and shown authentic ninja weaponry and gadgets. The whole thing was taken very seriously which made it even more appealing. It was authentic, really interesting and utterly compelling. The translator was a delightful lady who took loads of photos for the boys on their various devices. Wholeheartedly recommend this for older children there must be a minimum age because of the weapon handling, teenagers and young adults.
