Begin your tour along Corso Umberto I in central Taormina, where you’ll join up with your guide and take off into the evening-lit streets. Pass by landmarks and learn about the evolution of Sicilian food as you go.

Step into the garden area of your first stop and meet the local chef, who will welcome you with a cool glass of Prosecco. Settle into your seat and sample four local fish dishes. Enjoy an accompanying glass of grillo white wine, an ancient Sicilian variety, while you eat.

Afterward, stroll through Taormina’s historic center to a family-run wine bar. Sip and swirl three local red wines, such as Etna Rossa or nero d’avola, and savor a selection of bruschetta, cheese with marmalade, honey and caponata (eggplant relish) or cold cut meat.

Travel to your final stop for dessert and treat your sweet tooth to cannoli (pastries filled with ricotta cream) and torrone (an almond and honey candy). Then toast to your evening out with some dessert wine and limoncello before concluding at your original departure point.

Gluten-free options not great
Louise M
, Sep 2019
Gluten-free alternatives could be improved. Nice and cultured guide. Wines were interesting - won’t recommend if gluten-free... despite Sicily being well prepared for this dietary need.
icon Response from Host , Oct 2019
Dear Louise, we are sorry that the gluten free options for the day was not the best for You. The tour as You can imagine is structured for no food restrictions. We choose the food for the tour carefully and all our attention is on that. When rarely we have some food allergy or food restriction, with pleasure we do our best to substitute the meal and find the best alternatives available, even if our locations are not specialized in gluten free options and the possibility of choice is not very high. Thank You so much however for Your review. We will take into consideration this to improve it. Warm regards

This was a fantastic experience our guide was amazing! It was a small group of about 10 people the first stop was at a local resto with appetizers and great wine parings. From there we walked over to a small wine bar where we tasted several red wines which were also fantastic. We strolled thru the streets and alleys of Taormina our guide seemed to know everyone! She was fluent in several languages which was also impressive. The last stop was at a small desert place strolling thru the streets. We would highly recommend this tour I can't remember our guides name but she was fantastic!

Alfredo met us right on time and is very knowledgable and loves what he does. He took an interest in all the people in our group. We learned about all the food and wine we tasted and the origins of each. There was a ton of food! We had a light dinner based on some of the reviews we read, but I can tell you there was more than enough food. Alfredo also taught us about many of the local traditions and customs while walking through Taormina
