Awesome way to spend the day!
Chgo_Friends

This was the highlight of our entire trip. Being able to get up and close with the koalas was awesome! Our tour guide, the "other" Steve, was great! He was full of information and was able to make our day enjoyable. To end the tour with wine tasting was great! I highly recommend this tour.

Best tour experience ever!

This was without question the best tour we've taken -- and we've taken a lot! Our driver/guide Steve ("other" Steve, not owner Steve) was friendly, entertaining, and very knowledgeable. We were initially a bit concerned that an 11-hour tour would include lots of boring idle time, but this was far from it. The experience was full from start to finish. It was a great combination of sights, wildlife, mountains, beach, waterfalls, and a delicious lunch, topped off with an excellent wine tasting experience. We highly recommend it!

Thanks Doug! That just might be the best review ever! And it's was Steve's first day. Imagine what he'll be like in another week or so 😀. Seriously though, we've both been doing this for decades now and it's feedback like yours that makes it such a pleasure to continue showing visitors to Sydney the wonders of Australia. Thanks so much for going to the effort of sharing your experience with Steve and for highly recommending the tour to others travellers. Now I can't wait to get out on tour again tomorrow! Cheers, Steve (owner Steve, not "other" Steve)

Nice full day trip with the owner Steve who was marvelous Wildlife center, beach lunch and winery were great. Forest was a little long.

Hi Ross, It was a pleasure to have you and Shelley along on the tour. Thanks so much for taking the time to pay it forward and share your experience with other potential travellers. Although the forest walk is around a mile or less it is a bit long for some so it's valuable for potential guests to know that before they book. Cheers, Steve

Excellent tour , knowledgeable guide ! We didn't see the falls because of the fire. Highly recommended !
icon Response from Host , Jan 2020
Hi Nicole, We never get tired of guests highly recommending our tour to others! Thanks so much for taking the time to spread the word. And some great news to share! After the bushfires we've had in some parts of the country, particularly over the Christmas and New Year period, we've seen an easing of weather conditions and even had quite a bit of rain over the past few days. That means we are once again operating normally and can walk to see the Yarrunga Valley and Fitzroy Falls. Cheers, Steve

This is a must

This tour was absolutely amazing! Steve, not the owner, was absolutely hilarious and extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Australia. The koalas were a big hit, as well as the roos and wallabies. Centennial Wine was fantastic with a delicious raspberry dessert wine. The waterfall in the Blue Mountains was also beautiful. This was one of our favorite days of honeymoon in Australia. I would recommend to everyone!
icon Response from Host , Aug 2019
Yes, he's the funnier Steve. No need to rub it in! Seriously then, it's wonderful to hear that it was one of your "favorite days of honeymoon in Australia". I can't think of a nicer way to hear that we're doing what we set out to do! Thank you so much for taking the time to share you experience and for recommending the tour to others. I'll make sure Steve receives your feedback - even at the risk of him needing to go up a hat size :-) Cheers, Steve (the less funny one) PS. Just to clarify to anyone reading this review, the waterfall we visit is in the Morton National Park in the Southern Highlands, not in the Blue Mountains. We incorporated the Southern Highlands as a glimpse of the Blue Mountains for those that don't have a full day to go there because the two areas are geologically and scenically very similar.

Exploring the Southern side of Sydney with Steve!
koalatoo
, Aug 2019
My Aunt and I had a fabulous time exploring and experiencing the hidden gems in Southern Sydney. From the wonderful wildlife park with a private encounter with a Koala named Harry, to the yummy beach bar lunch this tour had it all! && the wine! We brought five bottles home between us! Steve was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about what Sydney has to offer. This tour also stood out because it takes you away from the crazy hustle and bustle of the city and away from typical tourists spots to really get an Australian experience.

koalatoo Great name! It was a pleasure to have you and Sue along on the day and to show you what I agree are hidden gems to the south of Sydney. Seems like Handsome Harry has won over more hearts this week too. Enjoy the memories. And, of course, that delightful cool-climate wine! Cheers, Steve

The Perfect Day Trip from Sydney
rbartels747
, Aug 2019
WW&W exceeded expectations on every element of the trip. Steve, #1, the owner and tour operator, is well-informed (he grew up in the area), congenial (answers any and every question), and was willing to hike us off the beaten track to see a Lyrebird’s courtship ritual in action. Great sense of humor too. The lunch was delicious; sites all interesting; the small group vibe very comfortable. Getting close to nature - after a week in the city - was perfect and I have now fallen in love with the southern highlands (the ranches, thermos and the red wines). Well worth the extra dough!
icon Response from Host , Aug 2019
Hi Rob, I'm delighted to hear the day exceeded your expectations so comprehensively! It was my pleasure to show you all around my old stomping grounds. Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback with others that may be considering joining the tour. Cheers, Steve

Fun Experience
whit204
, Jul 2019
Steve was great, very knowledgeable about everything from the type of plants we saw on out trek through the Park to the types of animals we saw. Started out with a trip to the Wildlife reserve. Took pic and pet a koala then fed the kangaroos and explored. Then went to a national park to get a look at several waterfalls. Had a bit of a trek through the woods to look at some birds. Then went to a boutique winery, which had tasty wines We tried about 8-10 wines. All very small pours. My only complaint was that there should be more wine involved, less of the forest trek.
icon Response from Host , Jul 2019
Thanks so much for taking the time to share your experience and happy to hear it was fun. Sounds like it might have been even "funner" if there was more wine involved :-). Hope you found a good watering hole back in Sydney - there are lots of great ones! To clarify for anyone reading this that might be considering taking the tour, the day includes a short hike along a forest path of about one and a half kilometres (about one mile return) and includes 50-60 steps down and about the same number up again. We'll sometimes divert into the bush to spot wildlife, particularly the male Superb Lyrebird that is singing his heart out for the ladies at this time of year. (You can find some photos and video on our accounts on a couple of well-known social media sites!). The final activity of the day is a wine tasting at one of the boutique vineyards in the Southern Highlands where you get to sample some of the region's cool-climate wines. Cheers, Steve

Amazing!

I had a wonderful and amazing full day tour with Steve! He drove us around suburbs to see where the locals are living, stopping by interesting spots and scenic routes. No quiet moments, he’s always sharing information during the drive and walks! Unless the entire bus fell asleep because of major food coma. He bought us to a local restaurant with great ocean view for lunch, food was excellent! 1-1 close up time with koala and unforgettable moments with kangaroos. Trekking up national park to beautiful scenery and managed to catch Long glimpse of lyrebirds singing away. Steve is a really thoughtful guy and was kind to lend us fleece jacket when it gotten really cold. He got us back in Sydney on time and left us fond memories of Australia’s hospitality
