Hoping off and on

What a great way to see a large, complicated city! Traffic was horrible if you were driving but this was amazing. Very helpful drivers and staff at every stop. After the first loop around it was easy to get a lay of the land and know where you wanted to get off again.

This tour has buses with plug in headphones, which cut in and out and was sometimes not understandable, even when loud enough. The good is that there are multiple language options. Some other cities have live tour guide on a microphone. Better facts and figures and audible conditions. Would not recommend this option on a Saturday the day we toured. Traffic in Sydney on Saturday is crazy, everybody is out, it is such a great city. Only problem is there is not time to hop off and back on, cause buses are too crowded and you likely won't get all the way around. I'd do this over two days, during weekdays, instead.

Audio portion of the tour was poor...

Audio portion of the tour was poor. Could not adjust volume high enough to hear. Driver didnt seem to care and was not able to recommend stop to get off for specific sites I wanted to visit. Description states the entire red city line takes 90 min. That is very inaccurate as people were purchasing tickets as they entered the bus and each stop was delayed for almost 15 min. Would not recommend this tour.

Great way to get to know the city! I recommend doing this first so that you can figure out where you want to go. The staff was great and helped us make the most of the time that we had left.

Well worth doing - always the best...

Well worth doing - always the best way to start a visit to any city. Would have been helpful if we had been aware that the trip to Bondi only goes from Central Station - we did a complete loop of the city then had to do half of it again to get the Bondi bus. Best to do the Bondi trip once you get to Central Station then the rest of the city trip once you get back there. Commentary really good, everyone very friendly.
