Start your day with a walk around the Rocks district, which provides a mix of Sydney history and modern day life that is popular suburb with locals and visitors alike. Walk the cobblestone streets and admire the heritage architecture of this district situated at the base of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Learn about the indigenous Gadigal people who are the traditional land owners of Sydney, and hear the history of the first European settlement in Australia, established here in the late 1700s.

Overall good tour

Lots of good views of the city and harbor area. Overall, very good tour. Only criticism was difficulty hearing the guide on the Rocks walking tour due to traffic noise. We took the optional opera house tour. It was nice to see the area up close, but the inside tour was just okay. Also, disappointed that we could not take photos in most areas.

City tour is very good with informative guides. Opera house tour guides are excellent . Sadly, Viator omitted to book us in to the Opera house tour, so we had to pay for ourselves to get in and then reclaim the cost from Viator

Good trip and nice stops. The short walking tour in the Rocks stood out as the highlight with the excellent lady guide we taken round by. We had over an hour to kill before the time of our Opera House tour but had no problem rescheduling onto an earlier tour by asking at the box office,

A good tour if you want to capture Sydney views but you have limited time. On bus tour for the 4 hours. Short walking tours.

A lot to see and learn

Our tour did not include a walk in Chinatown as it started to rain; however, the rest of the tour was exceptional, mainly due to the driving skills and knowledge of John S, our driver and guide. We had several photo stops including a stop to see two iconic Sydney structures: the Harbor Bridge and the Sydney Opera. I liked John's background on neighborhoods and Bondi Beach. The view of the harbor entrance was majestic. The tour ended about noon at the Circular Quay giving us time to grab lunch before continuing to the Opera. The tour was great, but there were limitations on what and when we could photograph.

Sydney Morning Tour with Sydney Opera House

This was a great way to see Sydney if you have limited time. Our guide was very informative, kept us on schedule and even sang Waltzing Matilda for us. Some people like the idea of renting a car, but if you haven't driven on the left side of the road, now is NOT the time to learn in this big city. We met up with our tour bus at the Aquarium and ended with an inside tour of the Sydney Opera House.
