Wonderful tour!!
, Nov 2020
Lisa, our tour guide, was AMAZING! She truly made this tour so much fun. The food was good, as were the drinks, but Lisa’s personality and knowledge about the area made it really special. She was also very conscientious about Covid concerns, keeping us spaced and masked up! We felt VERY comfortable AND had a wonderful time. Thank you Lisa! We would participate again just to hang out w you for the afternoon.
Great Tour

Our Tout guide Lisa was great she was prompt, informative, very friendly, attentive, helpful and provided a great experience. The restaurants were all very good with my favorite dish ring Callaloo and drink was the painkiller. Each restaurant was great,

Thank you so much for this lovely 5 star review! We are so pleased you had a great time and felt like you uncovered some foodie gems. Come back anytime and we'd be happy to share with you our painkiller recipe again ;-)
Great way to experience St Thomas!

The tour started out with Lisa meeting us and providing great historical information about our surroundings! We visited a local park, admired key monuments, and picked fresh tamarind off the trees! Each food stop was great to taste the local cuisine which consisted of curry chicken, fungi, rice and peas, fried plantain, salted cod patty, and pork tacos! We enjoyed a Bushwacker from a rooftop hotel and made our own Painkillers in an alley side pub. The table side dessert was amazing. We enjoyed bananas foster and the presentation was fantastic! Lisa was amazing and we are grateful that we got to experience St Thomas with her!

Tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Restaurants had the right amount of food or drink and was very appetizing.
Our guide was great, the food was not

So I have been on food tours all over the world, and this was the worst as far as the food was concerned - other than the last stop where we got desert. The guide was very nice and knowledgeable, but the food was not good, and not nearly enough for the price of admission. There has GOT to be better food on the island of St. Thomas than what we had. The historic portion of the trip was good, our guide gave us some great info on the island history.

Dear SummerGirl, we are really perplexed given the limited information you provided in your review. "There has got to be better food on the island" - maybe you just don't like the local food? That is what we feature on tour - yellow plantain, fungi, mac n cheese, curried chicken, pulled pork tacos, make your own painkiller cocktail, a bananas fosters rum demo....I am not sure if you simply don't like the local USVI food or there is a particular restaurant partner we went to which you did not like, as we work with a number of restaurants in Charlotte Amalie.  We always strive for 100% customer satisfaction but you did not contact us during the tour or after the tour to let us know and this review is very vague and we can't make something right without knowing what you didn't like. We have been operating for almost 4 years now and have an amazing track record with previous customers, as you can see here on TripAdvisor. We take customer feedback seriously and we invite you to reach out to us and identify who you are so we can try to make it right. At this point we cannot do anything with the information you provided us. Best, Flavors of St Thomas

Tour was great. As many times we have been to St Thomas, we never took a cultural tour of the town. We met Lisa and were the only two people that showed up. So as tours go Lisa made it very personal and informative tour. A lot of walking and stairs which was just fine for two seventy year old's, the rum drinks and tastings at four stops, which were all delicious, probably helped. Honestly, Lisa did a great job and I would recommend this tour to very one physically able.

The Rum and Food Tour in St. Thomas was great. The tour guide Lisa was very knowledgeable about the history of the island. There were 5 food stops, and the drinks and foods served were delicious.
