Swimming with Sea Turtles in USVI
Cassandra_B
, Sep 2021
Our tour guides and captain were very knowledgeable and also made sure that we had a great time. We saw and swam with three sea turtles and had time to explore a reef during the tour, which made this a great value for the money, particularly because most of the half day tours in the area cost much more. Check in, even with Covid protocols, was very fast and efficient, and we started the tour on time. I definitely recommend when you are short on time, but want to see a different part of the USVI and get in some great snorkeling.

Our family went on this adventure. All ages thoroughly enjoyed it. Yep, even the teenagers! Our 5 year old had a turtle pop it's head 12" in front of his nose and was the highlight of his trip for sure! Great staff that ensured a fantastic day! ❤️

Excellent excursion

We booked our excursion for a Monday afternoon. We arrived and were processed in smoothly. The crew (Capt John, Christian, and Katie) made sure we all followed COVID protocols and sanitized everything. We were offered ice water on our trip out to Buck Island. Once there, we were given instructions on how to use the gear and on safety measures. We got in the water with Christian and were shown where the turtles were and then went on a short swim with him showing us various things in the water. He then turned the group loose for adventuring on our own. There were lots of fish and coral. We had about an hour or so in the water and then we’re called back to the boat. They took all our gear and asked what we wanted to drink from various alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. They ensured we never ran out of beverage and we were given a snack on our sail back to the dock. The boat was clean and orderly and the crew was amazing and attentive. I would highly recommend this trip. Worth the money! Thanks, VI Cat crew!!
