A Day to Remember

The highlight of our day was seeing a sea turtle and a stingray while snorkeling. Our captain and crew also planned it perfectly so we arrived at Lime Out early enough to snag two of the rafts. Brandon and Suzanna were terrific crew!!

Worst trip I have been on in a long time

The girls screaming when the fish was eating taco scraps. The cat steered back and forth. The other captain could not back the boat into docks. Let us off first than practice. The most expensive taco I have eaten and took over two hours to get. Didn't even boat close enough to st John to get good view of bays and beaches. First snorkel site had very little sea life

Currently, the US Virgin Islands has an influx of travelers who have never been to these beautiful island. Many of those people are using their stimulus money to go on a vacation, that they couldn't otherwise afford. Yes, things like taco's from a floating food boat take a long time to get and are relatively expensive compared to tacos from a normal restaurant in the Continental United States. But, it's about the "experience" of enjoying Lime Out and the crystal clear waters of the Virgin Islands. Most people get a kick out of the fish eating taco scraps. That's just part of the unique island experience. Also, one of the things that makes St. John so special, is the fact that a boat can't get close to the beaches because they are protected by the Virgin Islands National Park. This gives the beach goers an opportunity to enjoy the beaches without wakes from boats or fumes or noise from engines. Our crew members get to move up and become Captain's after being with us for a couple of years. That involves letting them drive with Captain's supervision. That also means that as a returning guest you get to see the same team members year after year. Something, we are extremely proud of, not something that deserves a 1 star. Remember, you are on a boat, in the Caribbean and on island time. Take a deep breath, sit back, relax, and enjoy the scenery and have another drink. The Virgin Islands are a special kind of vibe. You either "get it" and fall in love with these island, the people and the culture..... or you don't. I don't think you got it, and that's OK.

We loved this trip! We learned some fun history of St John, loved the drinks, saw some turtles and stingrays and met some great people. We were unable to go to the Taco Bar due to a COVID closure, but we had some pizza from Pizza Pi and it was terrific! Great excursion!

Thank you for your review! We are sorry that Lime Out was closed, but the Pizza from Pizza Pi is always amazing too. This just means you have to come back so next time you can try the tacos.

We had a great time! We met new friends, saw turtles and stingrays and love the open bar! The taco bar was closed at lunch, but we changed plans and went to the pizza place on the water. I was disappointed to miss the tacos, but the pizza was amazing!

Adam and Kayla were amazing hosts!! Snorkeling experiences were great and the taco bar has great tacos. (Rum Rib was the best!) Drinks are a little pricey there so take your drink from the boat. Highly recommend using Stormy Pirates!
