Departure Point

Traveler pickup is offered
There are two cruise piers in St. Lucia, POINT SERAPHINE and LA PLACE CARENAGE (Port Castries).

Point Seraphine Arrivals:

Disembark the ship and look for the pier exit. After you exit the pier, you will arrive into a large room. Head for the exit on your right in that same room and walk all the way down past many shops. Its a straight pathway until you are just about to enter the Diamonds International Jewelry Store at the end of the path. Turn right just before the Jewelry Store and you will arrive at the Pink Papaya Restaurant (under 5 minutes walk). Upon your arrival, enter the restaurant and let the host/hostess know that you are there for a tour with LucianStyle. Your local representative will be waiting for you wearing a shirt with the logo "LucianStyle" and also will be holding a sign that reads "LucianStyle" Experiences".

Port Castries (La Place Carenage) Arrivals:

Disembark the ship and look for the pier exit. Walk through the doors into the main Duty-Free terminal, turn left (only way) and continue towards the exit of the Duty-Free terminal, before you arrive at the main exit (on your right) you will see an oval/round shaped tourist information desk. This is the desk where you will be met by your local representative. Your local representative will be waiting for you wearing a shirt with the logo "LucianStyle" and also will be holding a sign that reads "LucianStyle Experiences". If you have trouble locating your rep, please make yourself known to the agent at the desk and let them know you are waiting for your rep from LucianStyle.

We ask that all guests please be at the meeting point at least 10 minutes prior to departure time.

Ports

  • La Place Carenage, Jeremie St, Castries, St Lucia
  • Pointe Seraphine Duty Free Shopping Complex, Castries, St Lucia

After disembarking your cruise ship in Castries, board a tour vehicle for transport to the Segway base.

Listen to a safety briefing and orientation from your Segway guides, then head for the practice circuit and get familiar with the self-balancing electric scooter. Don a helmet, elbow pads and knee pads, then spend 20 minutes doing laps around the practice track to make sure you feel comfortable before hitting the trail.

Zoom up the 1.7-mile (2.7-km) nature trail, which begins in Rodney Bay. Listen as your naturalist guide points out the native flora and fauna on your way up Mt Pimard. Your guide will also provide entertaining, educational information about the history and culture of St Lucia.

Stop at some sealed bunkers that once served as lookouts and tunnels for the American Military, who were present on St Lucia during World War II. At a small pond, pause to feed some freshwater fish, then stop for a snack yourself at a local fruit shop. Get views of the Rodney Bay Marina, Reduit Beach and Pigeon Island on the way up the mountain.

When your 2-hour sightseeing adventure is over, enjoy drop-off back at the cruise port in Castries.

Worry-free Shore Excursion:

We will ensure your timely return to Castries for this activity. In the rare event your ship has departed, we will arrange for transportation to the next port-of-call. See our terms and conditions for full details.

The actual Segway tour was really good, however the waiting time both before the tour - ie, being picked up from the cruise port, and then at the end, we had to wait nearly an hour in their office for someone to take us back. Not too happy about that.

Claude was a great guide. We quickly got the hang of it on the practice track and soon were able to go off the beginner mode so we could go faster. A word to the wise: don't speed down the hill! Claude easily corrected my goof and I didn't even have to step off the Segway. The trail is beautiful and mostly shaded. Very interesting to hear the history of the area. We had a great time!

A great tour that went just as advertised! We just returned from our cruise vacation and this was a great excursion! We booked directly through Viator and it was perfect. Taxi picked us up at the port, delivered us to the tour office and we were off! It turned out my wife and I were the only ones on this tour and we had previously ridden Segways, so we got reacquainted quickly. Wendell, our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. We rode well travelled trails and got to see some beautiful St. Lucia countryside, wildlife, beaches, and sampled some homemade rum punch. We enjoyed this tour very much and can recommend it without hesitation.

We went on our tour with Shangadanga, what a guy! The fruit stop was very unexpected but excellent and the views were great. The rum punch at the end in the bar was nice too. Watch out for mongooses too :-)

The segway tour was a lot of fun. We had outstanding guides and outstanding complimentary drivers both ways. I do want to say that your company really needs to communicate the pick up points better. There was never a communication as to exactly/precisely - where the driver was going to pick us up. The cabbies were extremely aggressive in St Lucua also. Only time on the criuse that I didn't feel my family was completely safe.

This excursion was by far our favorite and we went on five! We had 3 kids with us – 9, 11, and 14 and we all agreed this was our favorite! The staff was a hoot and very well informed about the area. They were very helpful and entertaining. The Segway’s were fairly easy to learn how to operate and the views were fantastic. I would highly recommend this excursion…. And this is coming from someone who’s sky dived, scuba dived, swam with dolphins/Sea lions/turtles and ziplined!

This excursion was great and a memorable experience from start to finish. I would certainly do it again. The group of tour guides were very entertaining and knowledgeable about the island history of St. Lucia. Thanks again to the entire team and keep up the great work.
