Under the cloak of darkness, greet your guide outside of the Oldest Wooden Schoolhouse and receive a spine-tingling overview of St. Augustine’s rich history: as one of the oldest cities in America, St. Augustine hides numerous skeletons in its proverbial closet.

Your first stop are the old city gates, to listen to tragic and traumatic tales dating as far back as the 17th century. See, too, Tolomato Cemetery, an ancient funeral parlour, and Spanish Street, shrouded in mysteries surrounding St. Augustine’s first settlers.

In the courtyard at St. George Inn, you’ll stand on top of human remains and hear of how the local community endured terrible events in order to thrive in the present day.

Your tour concludes at St. George Inn.

We enjoyed our guide very much, and liked the fact that he told us some of the history of St Augustine as well. Both my teen daughters, 17 and 20 approved too :)

Tony was great. It was enjoyable to hear the lore and legend of the city and it was a beautiful cool night. The walk was very pleasant and not overly taxing. Tony talked to people while walking, checking to make sure everyone was good and answering questions.

We had someone get sick in our group of 7 and decided it would be best for all parties if we didn't go. Didn't want to risk anyone getting potentially sick.

Ashley I have no idea what you are talking about. Viator handles all refunds for all reasons. Our staff does a top notch job with everyone and you did not specify what you are talking about. Sorry about the one that got sick so sorry but you must make contact with us to work anything out. Thanks Dion

History vs. Hauntings

I was disappointed in my tour. I expected to hear a bit more about ghosts/haunting vs. history. The story at the fort was a bit too long.
