This excursion was one of the highlights of our south coast trip. Damien was awesome! Always making sure we were staying safe and very informative about the glacier. The super jeep ride was cool and then we had an easy hike over rocky terrain to the cave. Inside the cave was amazing- no need to touch up photos, it actually looks like that! There were several other groups there but it was all well organized. Highly recommend!

It was all awesome, car park was easy enough to find and free to park. Free toilets there too. The jeep was awesome and we felt very safe, its about a 20 minute off-road jeep ride to the car park, on the way we saw wild reindeer! After that its about a 20-25 minute walk over pebbles/rocks/a rapid river over a bridge to the glacier and the ice cave entrance, we were given helmets and crampons to keep us safe. The guide had loads of info to share but did not overwhelm. Lots of time to safely explore the cave as a group and for those of you obsessed with insta etc etc the guide will have a light and knows alllll the best places for you to get the shot, but try to remember to have a look yourself not just through a camera/for insta.
It is VERY beautiful and changes every year according to how the cave is formed. In would recommend this trip and this company for sure!

Great tour! Our guide was knowledgeable and very nice, the meeting point was easy to find. Short ride in their off road vehicle and about a 25min walk to the glacier where the save is. Spectacular once you get inside and we had more than enough time to enjoy it all and take as many pictures as possible!

Our tour was fantastic! The tour guide Atli was awesome, he was very knowledgeable about the glacier and ice cave. He was very friendly and offered to take pictures for everyone! To get to the cave, it’s about a 20 minute off road drive (and then a 20 min walk). As far as I could tell, Ice Explorers had the best vehicle for the drive. I would definitely recommend this tour for the ice cave!

This was the most incredible experience in my life!! Damien, our Tour Guide, was knowledgeable & really loved his job! It was well run & the views within the glacier, the blue caves, was just incredible. I'd seen photos, but until you see it yourself, with your own eyes, it's hard to comprehend the pure majestic beauty. Do yourself a favour & get on this tour - you won't be disappointed!

Our trip almost got cancelled due to the weather forecast but their team went to check and made sure it was safe for us to continue the tour. One thing I want to highlight is that they truly care for your safety, they offered refunds if you couldn't make the trip even if it wasn't cancelled. Damien, our guide, was very knowledgeable and made sure the group was comfortable and safe the entire time, oh and he takes great photos too! I highly recommend! :)
Tip: definitely wear windproof and waterproof everything!
