Learn about Sedona's history and spectacular geology on a highlights tour that provides an excellent introduction to this famously scenic part of Arizona.

Your informative guide shares fascinating stories about Sedona's history, plant and animal life, geology, and climate throughout your tour. Keep your camera handy for frequent photo ops of breathtaking vistas and local landmarks. After pickup from your uptown Sedona hotel, meet your guide and hear an overview of the points of interest in the area, so that you can customize your tour to your interests and abilities.

Some of the most popular parts of the route include a drive through Oak Creek Canyon, which is considered one of the most beautiful canyons in Arizona, a 'little cousin' to the Grand Canyon. Drive the scenic route that runs between the creek and the towering red rock formations and stop at Bell Rock for stunning views of the massive rock. You can even stop at roadside stands that display Native American jewelry and crafts for sale.

Airport Mesa is another highlight, where you'll want to get your camera out to capture this vantage point on the red rock of West Sedona. Then visit the Chapel of the Holy Cross, an architectural wonder that was built in 1956. The innovative building was constructed on a 250-foot (76-meter) tower of red rock, with an enormous window that illuminates the interior and frames the desert landscape and sky outside.

Sedona is a 5 ***** star destination

Our guide Al was very knowledgeable, very friendly and a down to earth personality. Sedona is absolutely beautiful and Al drove us around pointing out and explaining the history of the area. The Holy Cross church on the cliff is amazing. Al mentioned the Wind caves along Rt. 179 which was an attraction I didn’t know. The trail is just short of a half mile hike from the road and easy to navigate until you get to the actual caves at the end of the cliff. A small descent and you’ll see a tree, to the right of the tree the caves begin. There are a number of caves. Use EXTREME care as the wrong move will result in certain death.

Get to know Sedona!

This tour is perfect to see Sedona in the comfort of a van. You get to see all the sweet spots and get an idea of what to plan for your stay and what activities you can do in Sedona. Little Joe, our guide had so much knowledge and was helpful when visitors had questions during the tour. He was super nice and I loved that he picked each of the visitors, including myself, from our hotels. My favorite part of the tour was our stop at the Holy Chapel. He was kind to take pics of me and my husband too. This tour provides stops to an amazing scenery background for all your picture desires. I wold totally recommend this tour if you just want to relax. If you are looking for something more hands on or extreme, this is not your tour then.

Sheldon rocks!
Virgie_M

The tour was wonderful! Sheldon is very knowledgeable of the Sedona area (being a local) and so very entertaining. He was very helpful making sure every passenger was comfortable and getting their questions answered and their needs met. Extra gestures like driving around and pausing to have another look at Snoopy, helping a senior passenger get up to the Chapel, driving around Uptown so we could figure out the best spot to be dropped off. Truly a good person. The only problem I had was with the booking but thankfully it was resolved albeit at the last minute!
