Enjoy a comprehensive experience of the Grand Canyon on a combination tour from Cottonwood that travels by small plane and helicopter. Admire views of Arizona's red rock country as you fly from Cottonwood to the Grand Canyon, then see the canyon up close by helicopter. See a Native American cultural performance, gaze over canyon views while eating lunch, and get a thrill with the inclusion of the Skywalk — a see-through platform that hovers over the canyon — and a short float trip on the Colorado River
  • Fly from Sedona over Red Rock Canyon and Sycamore Canyon
  • Enjoy a helicopter tour from the Grand Canyon's west rim to the Colorado River
  • Stroll on the Skywalk, perched 4,000 feet above the canyon floor (optional, own expense)
  • Have lunch at Guano Point and watch a Native American cultural performance
  • Includes complimentary hotel pickup and drop-off
  • Enjoy a short narrated pontoon boat ride on the Colorado River
If you're short on time and want a full experience of the Grand Canyon, this tour has it all!

Your day trip starts with hotel pickup in Sedona proper and transfer to the local airport. Your expert pilot welcomes you aboard your small plane and provides informative commentary as you fly over the Verde Valley en route to the Grand Canyon. From your small plane, enjoy views of Red Rock Country and Sycamore Canyon as you approach the Grand Canyon's West Rim, the traditional home of the Native American Hualapai tribe.

Upon landing at West Rim Airport, transfer to a helicopter with large viewing windows. In just seven minutes, you'll soar from the rim of canyon and descend 4,000 feet (1,219 meters) to the Colorado River, taking in astonishing views all around you. Next enjoy a short narrated pontoon boat ride on the Colorado River.

Afterward, return by helicopter to the canyon rim and transfer to the West Rim shuttle. The shuttle follows an incredibly scenic road along the canyon rim to Eagle Point. Disembark there for amazing views and the option to purchase a ticket to the Skywalk, a top attraction. Skywalk consists of a transparent bridge that extends over the edge of the canyon; the thrilling walk gives you incredible views of the canyon floor far below your feet. At Eagle Point, you also watch a Hualapai cultural performance before continuing to Guano Point for lunch. Enjoy a hearty barbecue lunch at a spot on the canyon's rim.

Your full-day tour wraps up with your return flight to Cottonwood and hotel drop-off in the late afternoon.

Best way to go!
, Oct 2019
This was a fantastic day trip! We were picked up at our hotel in Sedona and taken to the airport. On the way our driver, Evan, pointed out and described various sights. At the airport we met our pilot, Wade, who not only flew us to the rim but guided us on what to see and where to go. First class service all the way from beginning to end. Definitely recommend this tour!

This trip although it might fit everyone's budget, was by far the best day trip to see the most of Arizona and the Grand Canyon by air and boat. An amazing day!!! We were left just grateful and amazed with the beauty and majesty of the Grand Canyon up close. So, I have absolutely no regrets that I booked this tour--it was truly one of my best days of my life so far and got the magnificent pictures to prove it!

Our pilot on the plane Mike and the pilot on the helicopter Chris were great. Mike was like our guardian angel keeping all eight of us in check through out the entire day. The boat tour guides were equally accommodating, but unfortunately I do not remember their names.

The trip was really fun. The big disappointment was that helicopter didn't take us down to the canyon floor. As described in the brochure it said we would be flown to bottom of the canyon for a short boat ride. This part was left out. Other than that it was a nice trip.
