Return Details

Returns to original departure point
Meet a driver at your Sedona hotel for pickup, then begin the 109 mile (175 km) trip to the Grand Canyon. The drive itself is a highlight, following a route through the scenic Oak Creek Canyon to views of the San Francisco Peaks, a volcanic mountain range that towers over the surrounding landscape.

You’ll see the otherworldly rock formations of the Painted Desert, and take a break at the Cameron Trading Post, where you can browse handicrafts and artwork made by local members of the Zuni, Hopi, and Navajo tribes.

When you arrive at Grand Canyon National Park, you’ll have views down into the Little Colorado River Gorge, and pause at a series of overlooks for views into the canyon. See the Desert View Watchtower that looms at the edge of the South Rim, get the most expansive views on the South Rim from Lipan Point, then visit Yavapai Point, where a 600-foot (183-meter) drop exposes layers of the Grand Canyon’s 1.8 billion-year-old rocks.

Finish your time at the South Rim with dinner at one of the national park lodges, then begin the return trip to Sedona, where this tour concludes with drop-off at your hotel.

From the time Matt greeted us to the moment he delivered us safely back to the hotel he made our experience to the Grand Canyon! We were able to soak in the experience without worrying about logistics! He was informative and thoughtful. Even our teen commented how much fun she had!

This was a very enjoyable tour. Our guide was Chris and he was so knowledgeable and entertaining. He was able to give us information about Sedona, Flagstaff, the Grand Canyon, the local plants and fauna, and so much more! The sunset at the Grand Canyon was so beautiful! I would love to come back by myself and see so much more of the Grand Canyon!

One of the best tours I've been on

This was a well-planned and well-executed tour that will bring us fond memories for a lifetime. Our driver Matt was courteous and knew how to navigate to the least crowded areas in an admittedly high-demand place. He had water when we needed it, and restroom breaks as appropriate. It was a 9-10 hour trip but it never felt dull. The views were awesome and the service even better. Multiple stops on the rim, nice shopping option. Food was decent.

Fabulous sunset tour

This tour of the Grand Canyon was excellent. We left Sedona before noon and visited many overlooks before heading to the overlook with the best view of the sunset. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable, informative and helpful. There were a number of bathroom breaks provided as it was a long day. The only problem was one of my own making - I forgot to bring a jacket and the temps dipped dramatically at sunset so I was very cold, but the guide offered me his own jacket! The dinner at the hotel after sunset was okay, not fabulous but adequate.

My friends and I took this tour. We had Kevin (very talkative haha) but he was extremely knowledgable and showed us a ton of spots on the Grand Canyon. It was amazing. Highly recommend!

Our tour guide Sheldon was fantastic. Very informative and funny. He made the ride out and back very enjoyable. He dropped us off right at each site and gave us great insight into each place. There were 4 different couples on our group and he made us feel like one big family. We were there for the sunset and he was very accommodating and let us stay as long as we liked. I would definitely recommend this tour!

Grand Canyon Sunset Tour

Lynn was a great tour guide. She was very knowledgeable about many things. The only reason for not giving it a 5- excellent rating was that I would have preferred a different angle view of the sunset. I understand and was able to appreciate the reasoning of giving us a perspective of the sunset by watching the shadow rise on the mountains, but personally, I would have preferred it otherwise. Still very much worth the value and we would do it again.

Winter at the Canyon

A snowstorm delayed the start of our trip, we were offered a full refund but 7 of us didn’t take it and experienced a trip of a lifetime! Andrea, our guide, was wonderful, she knew the area and was very concerned that she listened to us and made the trip what we wanted.
