The price for the tour was extremely outrageously over priced. Only thing included was a water bottle.

We understood the train was from Sedona, not Williams. Train took longer than the guide expected and we had ZERO time at the main part of Grand Canyon. The van tour was very nice and informative, However, the GUIDE and the other 3 passengers did not wear their masks inside the van. My husband is 72, I am 65 both high risk for COVID- and we are less than 6 ft, apart. Not acceptable and actually disrespectful of all in the van all day long. The price with the train ride was extremely overpriced. $240 plus so almost $500 for the day was ridiculous. The only reason we took this option was to see from Sedona to the Grand Canyon via the train. Totally not worth. We have had several people ask us about it and we told them do not do it.

We appreciate your feedback. The tour information and itinerary does clearly state that the Grand Canyon Train depot is in Williams. We provide the transportation for the entire day with your professional guide and secure your train seats. Our reservation team also reconfirms all information 24 hours prior to the tour date and confirmed your pickup time from Sedona, tour to Williams where your guide takes care of check in and meets you when you disembark the train at the Grand Canyon. The tour of the Grand Canyon is extensive from South Rim to East Rim. We take our safety protocols seriously and the guide in question has been identified and will be reprimanded. We regret you were disappointed with the train but happy with the tour of the Grand Canyon provided.

Train views not too exciting

The train was ok. I guess I expected a little more. The guides on the train were good but taking the train was a little boring. I believe I would have learned more if I stayed with my guide on the van. Since I took the train, I missed out on visiting ElTolver and that entire area of the canyon views. I've seen them before but my companion had not; it was her first trip to the canyon.

Superb Grand Canyon Tour

We were picked by Steve at a hotel at Sedona to Williams, to catch the train which took us to the Grand Canyon. Lunch and water was given out prior to boarding the train. Although the scenery was reasonably good along the way, it became monotonous after a while. We were a bit disappointed that we did not see the Grand Canyon at any time during the train trip. At the Grand Canyon Train Depot, we left the train and was given about three quarter of an hour to see the Canyon. Steve Took us to see the Canyon at several different spots, Bright Angel Trailhead, Pipe Creek Vista, Moran Point and Finally at the Desert View Watchtower. He escorted us on these short hikes, told us valuable information about the Canyon. We saw the Colorado river cutting and running through the Canyon at several sports. I would rate the group van tour as superb, but the train trip as OK. We most strongly recommend Steve Benson as a guide (Great Venture Tours) for the Grand Canyon Tour. He is the best guide we have even seen - knowledgeable, enthusiastic and good time management.

My wife and I wanted to see the Grand Canyon and were pointed by our friend to check out your tour..... and we are glad we did. The train ride was nostalgic and the different views shown to us by our guide could not have been better...... Speaking of tour guides .... Sheldon was nothing short of amazing....full of facts, gracious, and made you feel like you were family. Do not miss this tour and if want a guaranteed perfect day .... ask for Sheldon!
