Why Travelers Choose This Tour

Travel from Sedona or Flagstaff to the South Rim and less-visited East Rim of the Grand Canyon in one day.
Be ready for morning pickup at your Sedona of Flagstaff hotel. Climb into a comfortable tour vehicle with your guide and group, then settle in for the ride through Oak Creek Canyon, widely known as one of the most scenic byways in the United States.

Pass through Flagstaff and check out the lava flows at the base of Arizona's youngest volcano, Sunset Crater. Continue to see some Native American ruins at Wupatki National Monument, where you can get a peek into the daily lives of the area's earliest residents.

Drive down to the Cameron Trading Post in the Navajo Indian Reservation, passing the colorful cliffs of the Painted Desert on the way. Eat lunch in the dining room, overlooking the Little Colorado River gorge, then shop for some souvenirs before heading for the main attraction: the Grand Canyon itself.

Visit both the East Rim and the south Rim for photo ops, learning info about the history geology, flora and fauna about the natural environment. Stop in the Grand Canyon Village, Kolb Studio, and the Grand Canyon Railroad Station.

Your full-day tour ends with hotel drop-off.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour, and especially enjoyed Charlie our tour guide. He took great care of us, was very knowledgeable without being too much. Although one of our places of interest was shut down because of COVID-19, it was still a great experience!

The views are indescribable!

Andrea was our tour guide and she was AMAZING!! She was a wealth of knowledge but let us experience the views on our own. She would stay there in case we had questions. If you are thinking about doing this tour, do it. You will not go straight to the Canyon, you will make a few stops on the way, but that is part of the adventure. They are things I would have not seen if I drove myself. Absolutely worth it!

World Class Experience

Wow! What an experience! Travel to this arid region in springtime brings weather risks, so we were a bit apprehensive that such a rainy week would ruin our trip to the Grand Canyon. Were we ever wrong. Gentle showers off and on throughout the day seemed perfectly timed to present Arizona at its most beautiful. And professional tour guide Andrea Corral narrated every mile with insight into the flora, fauna, indigenous peoples, explorers and immigrants who contributed to the landacape and culture since the dawn of human history. Somehow she managed to provide us with a rainbow over the full breadth of the canyon at the South Rim and arranged for a large herd of elk to cross the road as we headed back to Sedona. This trip was of bucket list quality.

Fun time!

JR was very knowledgeable about the geography and the entire surrounding area. We saw the canyon from the most scenic spots and avoided the crowds. We didn’t need to worry about finding parking spots. We got to rest on drive back to Sedona- which was really nice. A tour was the right choice for us. If you are a movie buff- you’ll want to ask for JR. Lots of movies were filmed in the area going back to John Wayne and forward to Jodie Foster. He even has a Spielberg story.
