Learn the basics of whitewater rafting while paddling the upper Skagit River, with a whitewater guide to ensure a safe, fun experience for your entire group. You can focus on technique or just enjoy the ride, which passes through nine miles (14.5 km.) of gorgeous North Cascades scenery, Class III rapids, and sections of flat water that are perfect for swimming.

  • Minimum weight is 50 lbs and minimum age is 5 years
  • Anyone under 90lbs. requires a specific life jacket so all people under 90lbs. must be announced at the time of booking. Please indicate this in the special requirements box at time of booking.

Our guide, Josh, was very confident, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The river is beautiful and very tame for a first experience. My family and I thought it was the highlight of our trip to Seattle.

The guides were friendly and very helpful. Enjoyable float 7-9 miles down the Upper Skagit river just outside of Marblemount (brrrrr, cold water- wetsuit required in late June). Mostly class II rapids with one stretch of class III rapids (
