Anniversary dinner + a 2 year old!

We decided (last minute might I add) to take a dinner cruise for our 5th wedding anniversary. Questionable about taking our 2 year old daughter, but it was THE BEST! The staff was so accommodating to us, our waiter, Mr. John was phenomenal along with the cruise manager who stopped by several times to make sure all 3 of us were comfortable. The band was awesome as well- matter of fact, we even got to see a couple get engaged! Right on the dance floor! We got to see the River Street Christmas lights, great food, and even better company. I would recommend this to anyone at any time of the year!!!! Thank you Savannah RiverBoat!!!

Worst experience I ever had from our waitress Kat. We did not get acknowledged during the entire boat ride. The two times we received service from her, we had to get her attention and ask for what we wanted. Although we did not receive service, everyone that was sitting around us received excellent service without having to ask for it. The only time she provided service without us having to ask was near the very end of the boat ride when she offered ice cream that was melted on top of the brownie after everyone around us was provided desert 30-45 minutes before we were even thought about. I am 43 years old and I have never been through anything like this in my life. I hate to bring race into this but everyone around us that received excellent service was white and we happen to be black. I would hate to believe this was the reason for the not poor but absolutely no service.

We all loved it ! It was an awesome experience from beginning till end. Boarding procedure was so accurate , we enjoyed taking the picture. Very nice and elegant inside , our server Ashley was outstanding and very generous and so sweet .The food was so delicious , the drinks were great , being able to walk around the whole Riverboat was great ! We enjoyed the music where we were seated by the buffet thank you to all the servers . The dance floor/ DJ on the upper deck was fun to dance too . Our 2 kids (21 & 15) yr old enjoyed everything about it , and B-Day Oct/23rd./ boy "Gont", they couldn't pronounce his last name "Gon-ter-man"... lol Bryan, kept thanking me for celebrating his b-day there. I'm definitely going to book again in the near future "After COVID19"
