Rachel was very knowledgeable about the area. She took her time with us, answered questions, and was very excited to share her town! On top of that, alllll of the food was amazing!

Good choices . Food was good and Kali was very good on given the history about the city and the culinary . Only thing I would request is that they advise customers to bring their own water or provide a bottle to each person at the beginning of the tour . The only drink they provide is a cup of water at the first stop .

Thank you for your feedback. You should have had water at all but 2 stops and your confirmation information should have advised you of 4 things: we operate rain or shine, check the weather before your tour so you are prepared, bring a water bottle, and wear comfortable shoes. We are looking into why this information was missing or difficult to find on your confirmation information. We thank you for bringing this to our attention and we hope to have this resolved immediately. Cheers!
Great food and guide

Deshawn was awesome and funny. The food was tasty. We also learned some history along the way. Highly recommended this fantastic food adventure. Plenty to eat and yummy vegetarian options (let them know ahead of time).
Tour During Covid
, Feb 2021
The tour guide was terrific and food was memorable. Our group had 10 people and many of the places visited were very small. This was a real problem considering the Covid recommendations. I recommend a maximum of 6 per tour until the pandemic is under control. I was very uncomfortable and should have left the tour.
A Tour Full of Samples

Great and friendly guides who shared lots of great history tidbits! We loved the shrimp and grits, and there were some surprises too.
Culinary tour

Cindy was a fabulous tour guide. We thought the food was great! It was a little heavy on the meat. Would have liked the British pastry shop to serve a pastry dessert instead.
Good Food, history summary and COVID practices need improvement
, Jan 2021
The food was excellent. The guide was friendly. During the history portion of the tour I learned about how the Scottish, English, Jewish, and German communities came to live and contributed to Savannah. She also spoke of Eli Whitney and the invention of the cotton gin but no mention of slavery or the role African-Americans played in the history of Savannah. The tour was given during the pandemic. Measures were not taken to eat meals outdoors or seat participants at least 6 feet apart.

Thank you for your feedback. We have done hundreds of tours for thousands of guests since returning from lockdown and have worked tirelessly to improve ways to still be able to provide food tours in these most difficult of times SAFELY. While we assure you measures were most definitely taken to ensure the safety of our guests and to keep 6 feet apart whenever possible, we regret that you witnessed a moment where that wasn't the case. As our guides are instructed to state at the beginning of every tour - we ask each of our guests to speak up when they see something that makes them uncomfortable or might be considered unsafe so that we can address it at the moment. The fact that this apparently was not done in your case is highly regrettable and we apologize. We will continue to work with our team of highly-trained guides to make sure we are being as safe as possible. Thank you again. Cheers, Stu C. Owner, Savannah Taste Experience
