Fantastic day trip to see something different in Brazil

We enjoyed visiting Campos do Jordao. It takes approx 3hrs to get to from Sao Paulo but once you get there it feels like you have left Brazil due to the different architecture. On this tour you stop at a number of different points including a tour of the Governor's holiday house (tour is only in Portuguese though). The tour allows ample time for lunch, shopping and other activities if you wish. The trout for lunch is a must and a sample of the numerous chocolate stores on offer is another must.
