Good, but not great

Good was touted as Greek, but was simply chicken and pork. Had friends who did other tours where they received local grilled fish, etc. Boat seemed to backtrack and timing at stops seemed off or rushed for certain ones.

Chill sailing

It was a safe sailing. Perfect on time transition bus-boat: no delays , perfectly organized. Food was great especially dalmades and tzatziki; I missed the pita bread. Barbequed chicken on board was awesome. Stops for swimming and snorkeling could have been longer but undestandable water traffic and safety concerns. Neda was amazing: she did the sailor, the chef, the tour guide, the waitress and photographer. The only complain: the music/ it was this station with all classic even rock songs arranged very melodic and slow. It kept the excitement down. They should have definitely played ‘mamma mia’ since all the audience mostly American knows Greece from the movie. Overall, the sailing trip is a must and this particularly one on the BoNiTa was great

Catamaran tour

I thought the guides on this tour were so kind and accommodating. I was disappointed that we couldn’t stop at the white beach but that wasn’t their fault. The views were amazing and so was the food.

Terrible ending to an okay tour.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Cruise itself was fine. Unfortunately, this ended badly when the driver either forgot about us or decided to leave us at the harbour. We were told to wait by an ATM machine in the dark, where we waited for over 30 mins for another driver. The bus that finally arrived for us was the wrong bus, and too large to navigate the small streets back to our hotel. So, we were dropped off at the village centre and told to walk the rest of the way. We are not familiar with these streets, and the walk back felt dangerous as there was no lighting on some of the dark narrow streets with steep hills and blind corners / poor visibility for drivers. We were very stressed, upset, and scared. Mistakes happen, but the resolution is what matters most. Unfortunately, when we reported this experience, the tour operator denied knowledge of this, and offered NO resolution or compensation for ruining our last night in Santorini. [Note: I will revise this review if an appropriate resolution were offered by this company].

Pros and Cons

My husband and I have taken catamaran tours all over the world and after reading the reviews to this Santorini tour we decided we should give it a go. Here’s the pros and cons of why we only rated this tour 3 stars Pros: -The sunset was breathtaking from the boat. No other viewing location can compare! -George, one of the staff members, was incredibly attentive and our cups were always full -The dinner that was prepared on board was tasty and fresh Cons: -What I found most disappointing is we did not get to go to the beaches at all. The boat anchored for 20 minutes about 150 meters from the shore so there was no option to swim and see the red sand or the white sand beaches up close -The description also stated there would be wines and soft drinks. The only wine was white wine. It was good, but if you’re not a white wine drinker there is no other alcohol option for you on this trip -This isn’t any fault of the cruise, but just a disclaimer, hot springs was nothing special compared to others we’ve visited. It just looks and feels like dirty water that is slightly warmer in some random pockets Overall, we had a nice day and made a lot of new friends on our journey but for us, not actually going onto the beaches would be a deterrent for booking this tour in the future
