Overview

Experience Santorini’s beauty, hot springs and beaches on a catamaran cruise. Select a daytime or sunset cruise, and sail around the island and caldera (flooded volcanic crater) on a deluxe catamaran. Stop to bathe in the Nea Kameni springs; swim, snorkel or unwind at beaches; and enjoy unlimited Santorini wine and Greek beer, plus a Greek meal prepared on board. On the evening cruise, be treated to awe-inspiring sunset views. A cruise is essential when you visit Santorini, and with numbers limited to 18, this offers a small-group experience. The catamaran vessel that is used on this tour is both motor-powered and wind-powered(sails). Its sails might or might not be used/opened, subject to weather conditions and captain’s judgement. This is a gentle note for guests that are opting for a pure sailing experience on board a non-motorized sailing boat.

Ports

Select a morning or sunset cruise when you book. Then, on the day, depart your Santorini hotel by air-conditioned minivan and travel to the jetty for your catamaran cruise.

Meet your professional skipper and crew, and find a comfortable spot on the deluxe modern catamaran. Then, sit back and admire Santorini’s caldera and sugar-cube clifftop houses as your vessel pulls away from dock. Relax and enjoy the sea breezes, and take snaps of the views as your catamaran cuts through the waves of the Aegean Sea. As you sail, enjoy the unlimited Santorini wine, Greek beers or sodas available from the onboard bar.

After a short sail across the south part of the island, stop at the Red Beach. Pause here and enjoy time to swim, snorkel or simply sunbathe on the decks. Then, drop anchor at the hot springs beside Nea Kameni, Santorini’s ancient volcano. Step ashore and submerge yourself in the warm pools, whose waters are thought to have medicinal powers that help alleviate skin and bone conditions.

Back aboard, cruise along the coast to Santorini’s southern beaches. Head for the White Beach, and, if you wish, leave the boat to swim in the crystal waters. If you fancy checking out the undersea life, use the supplied snorkeling equipment and set off in search of colorful fish and other underwater sights.

Afterward, return to deck for a delicious lunch or dinner, depending on the cruise time you’ve chosen. Dig into an enticing selection of pork and grilled chicken, Greek salad, pasta salad, fresh bread and fruit.

Then start out on your return journey. If you’ve chosen the sunset cruise, soak up the sight of one of Santorini’s magical sunsets. Snap pictures or just enjoy the moment as the sun sinks below the horizon in a blaze of orange, gold and pink.

Lastly, dock back at the jetty and finish your tour with a hotel drop-off.

Great experience with Spiradakos Cruises and a must do when in Santorini!

The crew of the “Captain Tony” were great! Super friendly and helpful and always there to make sure you were having a good time! The departure from Vachydia and arrival at Ammoudi were relatively organized as it seems the group from the transport was also the group you would be together with on the boat, and they tried to keep you together. An amazing experience overall with 3 different swim spots, including one with snorkeling to see fish and the other near the “hot” springs. The final sunset for us was a bit hazy but that’s no fault of the crew or company. Great clean boat and they kept it to the stated 18 maximum so people could comfortably distance (except when eating the meal at the tables … but you can decide how comfortable you are with that )

My fiance and I wanted to see some great Santorini sites without having to get on another ATV or in another expensive car and this was a great way to do that. The boat was spacious and beautiful and the staff was amazing, always ready to fill up our drink or take a photo. We visited amazing locations, enjoyed a wonderful lunch and had a great day. For me personally, music on the boat is always a big thing and I would have liked to have music playing loudly so we could hear it, it was just sort of in the background, but if you're more chill this is is the perfect cruise. My only complaint was the transportation back. We waited a long time after the boat docked waiting for the bus to arrive then we stopped at some cafe where the driver exited (on his phone) for a while. It took much longer to get home than I would have liked after a long day on the boat. Overall amazing experience and highly recommend

Best part of our trip!

The caldera cruise was one of the highlights of our trip to Greece! Alex and the rest of the crew made it an unforgettable trip. They were fun, helpful, and available if we needed anything! I took the cruise in my 3rd trimester of pregnancy and it was very comfortable and smooth. The food was amazing and the drinks never ran out. You get to see parts of Santorini that you wouldn’t be able to otherwise, and getting picked up/dropped off at our hotel was super convenient! 10/10 highly recommend this to anyone visiting Santorini!

Amazing food, staff, and experience

This was one of my favorite memories from our trip. I felt like we spent the perfect amount of time in the water vs on the boat/eating. The staff were so kind and the food was AMAZING. They literally start preparing and grilling it pretty much as soon as you take off so it is ready by lunch. I definitely recommend the DAY cruise because the warm sun is perfect for swimming and laying out on the boat.
