Disappointing Tour of Valparaiso & Vina Del Mar

Microphone problems, so you couldn’t understand anything the first hour. Guide should have tried to speak without the device. Unnecessary bathroom stop in the first 40 minutes. Tour of Valparaiso was overdone. It could have been covered in 45 minutes less. Did not appreciate not having choice of where to have lunch. Where we stopped was overpriced, suggesting that the tour company and restaurant have an “arrangement.” We should have stopped in the center of Vina Del Mar, where lots of dining choices were available. Tour guide was ok but English left something to be desired.

Slow start but tour improved after the bus actually arrived

Bus was over an hour late arriving. The tour guide did her best to make up for the delay but it became a 7 hour experience instead of 4.5. The sights and commentary were very interesting. There's quite a lot of walking involved so wear comfortable shoes. Lunch was at a nice restaurant but it is a seafood restaurant so be aware if you don't like seafood!

We thank you for this feedback. Unfortanely that morning the roads had much traffic problems due to the protest occured the night before blocking with rocks and fire. All this happing in the critic social situation of chile. That is the reason we had a very important delay on the pick up. Witch we called all the hotels given this information to let the clients know . After arriving to the hotels the guide did her best in given a city tour of quality and walking tour . The situation now is more calm in the streets of santiago. We are sorry about the delay somenthing that was not in our hands. And very glad to know you enjoyed the tour and the guide. After receiving an email a couple of days before the tour we were slightly concerned that it may not take place but as it turned out we needn't have been as we were the only two people on the tour. Our guide Eugenio was extremely knowledgeable about Santiago and went into lots of detail about the city and also the political and financial situation in Chile. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants an overview of Santiago

This was ou first time in Chile. Our guide was Claudio. He picked us up at our hotel exactly on time. The tour was s great overview of Santiago. It included Santa Lucia, the Presidents palace with changing of the guard, and Plaza des Armes. Overall, we saw enough that we felt comfortable touring on our own after this tour.

Excellent tour. We saw all we wanted to see in a non rushed way and even stopped for an ice cream on the hill in the city. The guide / driver was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. The vehicle was comfortable and he even helped with my mobility scooter.

Christian you were fabulous. We loved the time spent in the park donated to the city, and also the park with the flamingos and two adorable little boys who ran up to us and asked for 'an abrazo'. I looked them over quickly pickpockets perhaps, but then noticed that there was a man with a group of children and they said he was their teacher. What a shame we did not have a camera with us at the time - it wasn't only the hug they asked for but also a kiss! Two little lady killers in the making!? They were totally adorable. Gauchos dancing in the street was an added attraction.
