Unfortunately we did not get to visit the vineyards from Casablanca because they closed due to the holidays. The tour company reached out to us and managed to get two alternative vineyards for us to visit. I highly recommend visiting Undurraga vineyard, the tour is awesome and the wine is superb. Concha y Toro is not that good, the tour is too fast and commercial and the wine tasting runs way to fast for you to truly appreciate it.

Great tour - disliked the fake history lesson

Great tour and the company with 3 other guest was very good. We had a great time. The driver and tour guide knew a lot about the area and about wine. Only negative was when he rewrote the history in defend of the dictator. I dislike any talk about politics and what he said was totally wrong compared to the history books. That is simply wrong. But the selection of wine yards was really good and two of them was extra good in different ways.

Thank you for taking your time on this review. I want to explain our vision about ¨fake history lesson¨ . As a company and also as tour guides we consider must be neutral and delicate when its talked about politics and religion. Meaning we do not take sides in this matter. We understand your disliked. And we thank you for expressing it and give us the chance to analyze the issue. In this wine tour we do our best to choose the best options we can. And its very satisfied you enjoyed this Wine Tour Casablanca Valley. Have an excellent year till next time !

Fun and informative wine tasting

We enjoyed both our guide and experience very much. Gabriel was prompt to confirm pickup time he evening before and the vehicle was very comfortable. Short drive to the valley , maybe an hour or so. We opted for the three wine tasting experience, first two were really great. Because of Covid , the third one wasn’t so much a tasting but rather a glass of sparkling wine on a winery’s property. In retrospect we would have selected the two winery option. Also lunch was on our own, nice restaurant on property for Casas Del Bosque. We enjoyed it.

An easy way to enjoy a few wineries

The bus arrived early at the hotel, we were ready. The tour guide Danny was very friendly, knowledgeable and informative. He kept us entertained. The wineries ranged from posh to plain, with each winery providing a tasting/tour guide. Lunch at the chosen restaurant was really quite good, good flavours and excellent presentation. An easy way to enjoy a few wineries without the hassle of scheduling and driving.

Great, intimate tour with knowledgeable host/driver

I really enjoyed the tour! I only had three days in Santiago, but going to Casablanca for a day tour is a must-do. Gabriel was great! His English is flawless and he's very knowledgeable and informed about more than just wine. I would definitely recommend the tour. One side note, there is only one tasting included, even though my listing said there would be two. Apparently, the tour group has tried to get Viator to change that description, with no luck.

Such a beautiful tour

I took this tour to simply get away from Santiago since my options in the city were limited due to the protests. What a treat! The tour was much more than i excpected. The tour guide, Gabriel, picked me up from my airbnb at exactly the time he said he would. He had selected the right wineries for this tour. Each one offered something unique from the other. That made the tour so much more exciting and enjoyable. Gabriel, with a perfect English, was very knowledgeable about the area and the wineries and made the whole tour a very enjoyable experience for all in the group. I would totally recommend it to everyone.

Quantity over Quality - but still a good tour

Our tour guide Frank was amazing! So much energy, enthusiasm, and knowledge. I think overall this was a great tour for the money spent. Pros: -Great guide -Small group (12 total) -Comfortable accommodations -Loads of wine! Like, if you actually drank all that was offered at every tasting you may not survive! -All the wineries were beautiful -All the wineries were different -None of the wineries pressured us to purchase wine -All of the wine tours and explanations about the wine were short and sweet Cons: -We were the first to be picked up and the last to be dropped off -Lunch was fine (tolerable), but we ate as a large group and it took forever. Good thing we liked our fellow tourists! Food was meh but presented nicely. They had a good GF pasta option. -The tastings were not very elevated. I’m a huge wine enthusiast and would have liked the opportunity to pay extra at the winery for a more elevated tasting. The wineries didn’t even have bottles open of their higher end wines to taste even when I expressed serious interest in buying.

We visited Veramonte, Loma Larga and Viña Mar with Gabriel on a day trip out of Santiago. I especially enjoyed Loma Larga where we had a great tour of the winery grounds in addition to a tasting. Gabriel was knowledgeable, professional and super nice! I highly recommend this tour!

This was the most amazing tour and well worth the time and money. I was hesitant about booking this tour given the price. We were really lucky and had the most amazing tour guide. Not to mention it was only my friend and I on the tour, so it was very personal. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about Chile and the Casablanca Valley. What I enjoyed about the tour most is that the vineyards did not pressure you to purchase wine. They told us places in USA where we could purchase wine. Each vineyard seemed most interested in teaching us about their process of harvesting and having us enjoy the actual wine. This tour was by far the best vineyard tour I have ever been on, including vineyards in Sonoma and Napa. Our favorite vineyard was the small, family-owned Loma Larga. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and a great place to enjoy tasting wine. The sommelier at Loma Larga, I could have spent all day with her. She was absolutely amazing, knowledgeable and just a joy to be around. But the other 3 vineyards were amazing as well. Do yourself a favor and book this tour if you have the time and money. well worth it!

Gabriel picked us up on time at our hotel after reconfirming the night before. Our drive was entertaining and informative and we learned about Chilean food, history, and customs. We were given recommendations for restaurants, future tours, and places to see. The four wineries were excellent and scenic and the wines tasted were superb. This was the first time we had a tour in Chile where the tour exceeded expectations. Gabriel and this company is to be strongly recommended.
