Great museum! No proof of vaccine required but they did make sure we Wore out masks correctly. Patrons were spaced out so that we felt safe.

The museum itself was INCREDIBLE!! Every display and historical information were well put together and organized. The staff from entrance to all the way to exit were ALL FRIENDLY and ON-TOP if their job. Meaning, they greet, have very proper way of speaking to all visitors, stay around to make sure people follow rules and kept mask on for SAFETY, guided visitors to right directions, and they were simply NICE workers and showed they loved what they do. The manager at Walt Disney name Christine was phenomenal. We’ve explained our situation of getting lost in the city, which explained how we got there late than scheduled time we originally set; she understood our situation and worked with us. These truly showed how she valued customers and what type of manger or leader she is. This reflected how she run the business with great skills for people and more than sure how she deals and trains her Walt Disney staffs. Overall, I was very pleased with the museum’s displays and history, and the ENTIRE WONDERFUL workers and manager ( Christine). Thank you ALL! Almina

It is a wonderful property to visit. The museum itself is full of fascinating Disney history presented chronologically. It gave you a real sense of the overall Disney story with lots of insights on little known aspects of the family's life. It takes more than 90 minutes to go through. If you really take it all in it would be a three-hour visit. There were some limitations due to COVID restrictions, and while they were probably a little too cautious, overall, they handled it well.

Wonderful museum. Covers so much of the history of Walt Disney from his early beginnings to present. Wonderful that it has a nice home in the Presidio. We also did the special exhibit which closes in January. Well worth the time and the price.

The beginning of the museum says the average visitor spends two and a half to three hours at the museum. We were there seven hours! Fascinating looks at one of our American icons of ingenuity. It was also great to see actual examples of the equipment developed by Disney and his company that advanced the development of animated film, like the multiplane film machine.

Our whole family absolutely loved this Museum. You really need a full day to fully explore all of what is on offer at this beautiful Museum, don't let the outside deceive you, this it is HUGE!. Loved seeing all the old family videos of the Disney family, hearing their voices telling their stories. If you love Disney this is a must see Museum while you are in San Francisco!

This is the 2nd time I have been to the Walt Disney Family Museum 4 years apart and the 2nd time was just as good. There is so much to see you could go every couple of years and still see new things. The displays are informative and interesting, you can easily spend 3-4 hours there. There is easy timed parking around the museum and if the fog cooperates, a great view of the Golden Gate.

This tour definitely met the expectation of understanding so much more about Walt Disney, the man and the company. It doesn't seem possible given how long this company has been in existence. The personal correspondence about copyright issues, strategy for testing new animation is so detailed, as well as the labor strikes are very insightful. The old memorabilia exhibit is great. Walt Disney's very early animated images and his wartime involvement was also unexpected. And if that wasn't all the setting of the museum is breathtaking. We were blessed with a great, sunny 70 degree day.

If you are looking for History on Disney the company or parks, this is not for you. This is specifically about Walt up until his death. It is still very interesting and engaging. If you go through all of the multimedia available you could be here for days. There is a lot of reading as well. You have some movie shorts, and a gallery downstairs to also explore. This can easily keep someone without kids busy 3-4 hours if you read and watch everything, so you can get your money's worth that is for sure. They have a small cafe on property with sandwiches and stuff. I did find that if you have Verizon and using Uber out there, to beware as the signal is bad. It caused a real hassle getting back into town because of it. When we were there, they also had some sort of party or even going on outside so it was very busy in the area with tents, cook out, whatever it was.

There is a great shuttle after 11 am that can take you around the park. The museum is really for mature 9 years old. It has the awards displayed and the story boards. There are many photos. It definitely takes you on a journey through his studio's achievements.
