Taste the bottled bounty of California's world-famous wine country on a full-day tour to Napa Valley from San Francisco. Skip the hassle of driving and the stress of choosing from more than 300 different wineries, and relax as a professional driver and guide take you through the gorgeous vineyards to two hand-picked estates. Learn about the winemaking process and sip bright, bold varietals with included premium tastings at both stops.
  • 7-hour Napa Valley wine-tasting tour from San Francisco
  • Escape the bustle of the city to experience Northern California's famous wine country
  • Visit two hand-picked wineries for premium tastings (included in tour price)
  • Stop for lunch at a local gourmet deli
  • Leave the driving to a professional and ride in a comfortable coach
  • Convenient pickup and drop-off location in Union Square
Meet your driver and wine connoisseur guide near San Francisco’s Union Square in the morning, and climb aboard a comfortable coach for the approximately 1.5-hour drive north to Napa. Along the way, cross either the Golden Gate or Bay Bridge and watch the city give way to rolling hills and vineyards while your guide shares fun historical tidbits and trivia.

When you arrive at the first winery, learn about the complex journey of the grape from soil to bottle and the many factors that make Napa Valley wine prized around the world. Sample famous regional varietals like cabernet sauvignon, merlot, sauvignon blanc, and chardonnay during a 45-minute tasting (all tasting fees included in tour price).

For lunch, take the guesswork out of choosing from countless Napa eateries and ensure a great meal with a stop at a local gourmet deli where you can purchase sandwiches, olives, cheese, and other tasty artisan provisions. After indulging in the valley’s prized culinary culture, visit a second renowned winery to taste more fantastic wine in a beautiful, relaxed setting.

Sit back and enjoy the warmth of the wine and the golden afternoon light on the return drive to San Francisco.

The details of the trip were misrepresented. We were told there would only be up to 15 people on our tour and it was in fact a bus load of 33 individuals. The description also stated we would go to a deli for lunch to purchase cheeses, crackers and other deli items....we were taken to Sonoma for lunch to eat at restaurants that the guide recommended. Two of the wineries we visited were great! Sutter Home was not a placed my group desired to go and it was proven. Although the experience was good, the tour was horrible!!!! The tour guide, Silvio sp? did a terrible job and was so disrespectful to a passenger. She went up to him to ask him to stop talking and he told her lady, just go sit down, later in the afternoon, she approached him again and he said, lady, i don't care if you don't like it, this is my tour. He continued to talk about insignificant topics to include stories about his wife, the fact that he had drank 12 Heineken's at the race track recently because it was dollar day at the track. He shared information irrelavalnt to the group. 2 non english speaking ladies even told him he should have better customer service. I visit San Francisco often but this was the first time for several of my friends. I know I will not use this tour company again due to the unprofessionalism displayed by this particular tour guide. thank you. Norma
