My fiancé and I had a dapper red-headed gentlemen with a lovely wool coat for our tour guide (we've forgotten his name) and he was FANTASTIC! The tour started on time and we ended up finishing it about 30 minutes early (it was just the two of us and we did not have many questions due to his great explanations). The walking wasn't bad at all, it is all so interesting you don't realize that 2 hours has passed, though I do recommend bringing some water as it is still entirely outdoors. We had a great balance between history and hauntings and he even brought a folder with pictures to emphasis certain facts/stories. All in all, great experience, tour guide, information, and sight seeing, ABSOLUTLEY RECCOMMEND!

No show tour guide

The tour would have been great, if a tour guide showed up. My sister and I were in town for a short 3 night visit. I thought it would be cool to learn more about Salem, including the “haunted” parts. Our tour was scheduled to start at 6pm. We got to the Salem Bank on Essex St around 5:40. It was 30 degrees. We waited until 6:30 and realized the guide was a no show. I called this company, a lady from a different country picked up and asked if I was in the right place and blah blah. Yeah lady, I’m in the right place. There was nobody, and I mean nobody, around. So I wanted my money back. The lady called the tour company to find out what happened, they didn’t pick up. So after some time on hold, I was able to get my $60 back. No email, no text, no nothing to tell me the tour guide wasn’t going to show up.

Hi there, thank you for your review. However you are leaving a review for the wrong company. This review is for Salem Ghosts, which states on its website "Salem Ghost Tour takes you through 8 or 12 different sites around the city, each one spookier than the last. Ghost tours meet outside of Salem Five Savings Bank at 210 Essex St." Also, we do not have any tours starting at 6 PM and our meeting location is not the Salem Bank. We only have one person to answer the phone, and I am not from a different country. Please remove this review, as you are leaving it for the wrong company. Thank you very much.

Great stories and so much fun!

Sean was not only knowledgeable on Salem but also so entertaining. My husband and I took our dog along for the walk and we had so much fun. We learned so much all while getting a little spooked out with the stories. I also want to point out that even with Covid-19, we felt safe the whole time. We definitely recommend if you're in town!
