Goldilocks tour - not too short, not too long, just right!!
, Feb 2020
Fantastic tour! We were only in Rome for two days, and I really feel that this tour was just extensive enough to give us great exposure to most of the important historical sites without being too overwhelming. Not too short, not too long. Just right!!
Our tour guide Ficcardo Fiore was VERY kind and super knowledgeable! We ended up having a super private tour of only 4 people and he was awesome . I would have liked to have headphones in to hear him better , but I just kept close to him and enjoyed the ride.
Very informative!. Suggestions: Have a big sign on the assembly area so it is easier to find the tour guide among the other groups crowding the train station outside of the Colosseum. Also would advise the tourists how long the walk actually is especially those with oder people and smaller kids. Overall, it was great.
My adult son and I thoroughly enjoyed taking this tour with our guide Jo (originally from Poland). She is highly knowledgeable of the sites on this tour, and current Rome events. She delivered the information in a warm, friendly and humorous way. This tour was a good use of our time and money to see these important, must-see, Roman sites in a more meaningful and informed way.
Glad we got skip the line as it was very crowded and quite warm. This tour was fantastic, but felt it was very long and so much walking. Be prepared with good shoes and fitness. Lots of opportunity to buy bottles of water for 1 euro from men on the street selling it. It is a lengthy tour, but very good. The tour guide was terrific. Very funny and passionate. Perfect english. Highly recommend it if you dont mind in depth info.
Tour was cancelled at last minute due to free public day. There were other options offered but were not viable due to previously scheduled tours. Since this is a monthly occurrence, tour company should have been aware of this before scheduling. We have NOT received a refund for this tour.
Our tour guide was very friendly funny and knowledgeable. Skipping the line was great and saved us so much time and we learned so much about what we saw, learning about history and she showed us where Cesar was murdered. She made it fun and made my daughter's feel really good. A must do tour.
