Horrible experience. No accountability

We called Viator to make an adjustment to our tour date 5 days before our tour. Received email and app updates of our amended dates. However, when we showed up for our tour, the tour operator still had us for original date and tour was full so they were not able to accommodate us. Tour guide was disinterested and unapologetic for mix up, just told us to call Viator. Unprofessional!

Dear Dream45178278793, Thank you so much for sharing feedback of your experience with us. We apologize for the mix-up in your amended dates as well as the professionalism of the guide on the day of your tour. This situation doesn’t happen often, and it doesn’t represent who we are at Walks. We would love the opportunity to make this right for you. In order to do this, we would kindly ask you to email us at info@takewalks.com with your Viator reference number. We hope to hear from you soon, as we look forward to resolving this matter. Kindly yours, The Walks Team

Rome Food Tour and Pizza Making

This was a great way to start our time in Rome to get familiar with the area and offerings. The restaurant where we made the pizzas turned out to the BEST pizza and food we ate during our 7 days in Rome. We went back on our last day to enjoy the food one more time and heard another family comment that it was the best pasta they had ever had (restaurant also has gluten free pasta). We learned about the culture, food, history, etc and have new things we like now that we will try to find back in town like suppli. We booked this to try a different tour company, and it ended being the same tour company we had booked for our other tours. We were happy with all 5 tours we did with Walks of Italy.

Bring an appetite. Initially, I wasn't sure how much food I would get on this tour but it filled me up and then some. The best part was that I felt we learned a lot about the range of flavors that make up Italian food and left feeling like I had really learned something about it.
