We had a great time on this tour. We had a customized tour and we were on our own time/pace. Our driver was very knowledgeable of the roatan island. We went to see the sloth and got to cuddle these gentlest creatures. The iguana farm was fun too. We got to feed and pet baby iguanas. There was an area where we fed tarpoons. After, we went to the beach where we boarded the glass boat and had an amazing view of corals and schools of fish.

Our driver was brilliant, he was very knowledgeable and took us everywhere we wanted to go and showed us other places we did not know about. He explained a lot about the local culture. There were just my wife and I we had the minibus and driver to ourselves for the whole day,We visited the wildlife park which was well worth the visit we saw monkeys, sloth , macaws , parrots and the butterfly park. Saw some marvellous views of the island from the view points. A great day out which we would highly recommend. Better value than the cruise ship tours!

We loved the tour. Our driver was excellent. The four of us had a wonderful drive around the island and views of the beach. Our driver gave us information and history on the island of Roatan. Then we went to AJ's Monkeys and Sloths and had a great time with the beautiful sloths, monkeys and national parrot of Honduras the scarlet macaw. Holding the animals and birds was a treat. I would do this tour again.

The van was fairly comfortable for 8 adults. A step stool would have helped us get into the van better. The guide was very informative and obviously proud of his country. He went where we wanted and drove very safely. Good for an overall look at the island. We had lunch on our trip and it was very good. Fresh and local food. Back to the ship in plenty of time.

Our group of 8 55+ adults loved this. It's the way to really see the island if you're not going to do water sports. We like to see the culture of the places we're visiting. Ron was a wonderful guide. He took us to see everything we wanted to see (sloths, monkeys :)))) and more. We were able to take our time as it was a private tour, not the cruise ship excursion. We also had a great authentic meal at a local joint. Delicious! I even did the zip lining right there while the others waited for me. 16 lines. right through the forest. It was fantastic! We all highly recommend this company and this day in Roatan.

Our tour guide, James was exceptional. He was on-time and waiting for us. He made us feel like family and greatly enhanced our day in Roatan. We learned about his country, the trees and animals there as well as he shared a bit about the many different people who live on the Island. He took us wherever we wanted to go and had honest suggestions that helped us decide what to do. In the end we did a sloth and monkey tour, a mangrove tour and then had an amazing seafood lunch in Coxen Cove. Such a great day with a great person that Roatan Adventure Tours is lucky to have. I highly, highly recommend doing Roatan this way and with James. Ask for him, you will not he disappointed!

We had James as our driver. What a nice, polite and knowledgeable person. While driving us around he would point out and tell us some history of the town. He took us to a beach and waited for us while we went swimming. We stopped and had lunch across from our ship, my friend told James we could walk across the street and get to the boat. He told her NO.... I will drive you and make sure you get back safe. I give James and 5 stars.
