Niteroi : An Unexpected Gem across from Rio -

, Feb 2020
Everyone concentrates on Rio but few people take the time to make their way across the 15 km bridge to Niteroi that sits directly across the bay from Rio - too bad because they are missing so much !! We had an excellent tour with Jalbeir who contacted us by whatsapp and kept us updated on our itinerary - extremely knowledgeable and professional with a passion to share his experiences with us - What will you see ? not only incredible vistas of Rio but the works of one of the great architects of our time Oscar Niemeyer the builder of Brazil's capital and considered a visionary of his time - the modern art museum was fascinating ! We had a full lunch buffet and then explored the fort - and the surrounding area Its a full day and you will not be disappointed - we were very pleased to expand our horizons seeing architecture and this wonderful city - take a day - escape Rio and take this tour !
