Everything was going great , no hiccups until we went for lunch . The waiter upon seating us down proceeded to try to sell us premium drinks , we really didn’t want anything and we still had our own big bottle of water , but after giving us side eye we asked for waters all around. Still unimpressed with what we ordered proceeded to ask the child in our group how old she was , upon saying 11 . A lot of back and forth from the waiter to the tour operator was going on . Upon leaving the tour operator pulled us aside and started saying we needed to pay more because she is not a child . It wasn’t an issue up until lunch why now ?? Not having WiFi to prove on the website any age requirements and having some difficulty communicating We proceeded to pay Conveniently the credit card machine wasn’t working and we paid cash , we asked for a receipt and they proceeded to say we need to go as the bus is leaving we held them up enough . In retrospect we should have just left after lunch as the vibe changed the energy of the experience shot as now we were now getting looks for holding up the tour and feeling ripped off.

Brilliant tour covering all the “things you must see in Rio” Easy pace but we saw so much. The guide Priscilla was the best guide we have ever had in over 20 years of touring the world. Very knowledgeable and completely fluent in English. A great day out.

It was really great tour and tour leader and driver both were nice people and very kind. Places were woderful and beautiful.
